Edna was responsible for looking after the Alpha king's slaves. She was to feed them and attend to their health issues. Overall, Edna was a kind woman, she was caring and loving. She hated what Keda did to his slaves, but she also knew what Keda was passing through.

Edna has been with Keda ever since he was 10 years old, as his nanny. After his childhood was scarred, Keda changed into the beast he is today. Edna watched her sweet boy change into a ruthless man who kills people. She still had hope that he would be fine one day.

“May” she called softly, her voice as sweet as the early morning spring breeze on bare skin.

“Dear, I brought your food,” She said, but I remained quiet, sobbing on the bed.

“Please, you have to eat something. You have to regain your strength,” Edna said.

“And then he can drain me again, huh?” I fired back at her. I sat up on the bed and dried my tears with the back of my palm and the mucus running non-stop from my nose.

“I won't eat anything from you people. You're all monsters. Just let me die” I snapped at her sniffing.

“Don't say that, dear,” Edna begged. She dropped the tray on the small locker next to the bed and came to sit beside me.

“We are not all bad people. I admit you have been mistreated, but you are strong, I know you can pull through,” she added, but I chuckled.

“Pull through, Is that after I die, how can you people watch that ruthless Alpha king r**e girls and do nothing about it,” I asked, looking at her straight in the eyes.

“If only anyone could stop him. Keda rules over the government, He is the Alpha king of the strongest pack, he gives command and it happens. Nobody can stop him, nobody,” Edna explained and I felt another shock.

I just realized that I'm truly doomed and just a slave.

“Just eat your food and regain strength. Who knows, you might be the one to end this once and for all.” Edna asserted and left the room. I fell back into the bed and wept.

“How is she, the new… um… Slave?” Rina, Edna's daughter, asked when she entered the kitchen.

Rina was as sweet as her mother, gentle, and a beautiful soul. The only reason Keda didn't make her his slave was because she was Edna's daughter. Edna is the only woman he honestly respects, she took care of him.

“She's a very lovely girl, she doesn't deserve this. I have honestly not seen any slave with so much fire in them like her. I wish the Alpha king wouldn't be so harsh on her.” Edna sighed.

“But Mom, have you tried talking him out of this?” Rina asked.

“Of course, I've tried! He doesn't listen to me anymore. He does whatever he wants. He is the Alpha king,” Edna said and groaned.

“Just get back to doing the dishes so that we can go to bed, It's late.” She added and left the kitchen while Rina continued washing the dishes.

Keda was sitting at his desk, signing some papers, and documents that would be going to the government. Then a knock came on his door.

“Who is it?” He growled.

“Rona” a deep voice came.

“Come in” he ordered, and the door flung open.

“Hey… Are you done with those documents yet? I have to deliver them this morning,” Rona said, walking over to the desk.

“I'm almost done.” Keda answered.

Rona was Alpha Keda's right-hand Beta, his closest friend, and the second person he trusts the most, after Edna.

Rona was also very hot and good-looking. He was a brunette with black eyes. And a lady's man. He was known to be a playboy, but he wasn't as brutal as his friend, Keda.

“Okay cool. I'll be waiting downstairs. Meanwhile, you have a visitor,” Rona announced.

“Who?”

“Sela,” Your Luna to be. He scoffed.

“What?” Keda looked up for the first time since Rona entered the room.

“What is she doing here?” He asked.

“To see you, of course, you're the Alpha king and soon she'll be your Luna." Rona sounded it as a reminder. Keda looked exasperated.

Sela was the daughter of Keda's father's only friend. Alpha Noel of Bowl pack. They were betrothed at birth, and Keda promised his late father that he would mark her his mate, but the only thing Sela was good for, was satisfying him in bed. Apart from that, he didn't need her in any way.

“Chill man. She'll be up in a minute” Rona grinned and left the room.

Keda quickly signed all the documents and sent for one of his gammas to give them to Rona. He wore his robe and was about to leave the room in a hurry when she showed up at his door.

“Going somewhere?” Sela asked, a sinister grin on her face.

She was a pretty girl, innocent looking. But her past was a mess and her innocence is long gone.

Sela was blonde and beautiful… With a seductive body, that most men couldn't resist… including Rona, the s*x god.

“Sela… You're here?” He asked, coldly, pretending that he wasn't aware of her presence.

Most people would think that he's afraid of her, but Keda feared no one. He was avoiding long discussions about when he'll mark her as his Luna. He didn't want to talk about getting married to her. He could easily kill her and end everything, but he made a promise to his father…

“You can't leave just yet… allow me to take care of you this morning,” she said, biting her lower lip. She walked towards him seductively and took off her blue robe, revealing her sexy lingerie.

“I don't have time for this, Sela,” Keda said. “Yes, we have things to do, his wolf max chipped in.”

“Since when do you not have time to make me scream your name in pleasure?” She asked, grabbing his manhood through his pants and squeezing it gently.

Keda felt himself getting turned on.

“Sela, I have important business to attend to. I'll see you when I get back” he said, but Sela wasn't ready to quit.

“I'm all yours and one day I'll rule your pack side by side with you, Keda… make me beg you… Make me scream until you're satisfied” she said, getting on his desk and spreading her legs wide open.

Keda has never let any woman get on his bed. Not even his betrothed, Sela.

Keda couldn't take it anymore, he got rid of his pants and rushed at Sela like a hungry wolf. He pounded her hard until her screams could be heard everywhere in the quiet mansion.

“I love you, Keda,” Sela confessed, breathing heavily.

“I have to go. Clean up this place and leave.” he ordered and left without turning back.

“Oh, Keda… You have no idea how much I love you. I know you don't want anything to do with me, you just don't want to break the promise you made to your father.” Sela paused and chuckled.

“Well, don't worry, I'll make you fall in love with me and only me. Because you are mine. I will use the promise you made to your father.” She declared and wore her robe.

She left his room and went downstairs. She met Rina with a plate of food, heading towards the second hallway, and stopped her.

“Where are you taking that to?” She asked.

“Good morning mistress” Rina bowed.

“I'm taking it to the masters slave,” she announced.

“I didn't know Keda got a new slave,” she gasped.

“You may go”

Sela wanted to find out who this new slave was, so she quietly followed Rina. When the door opened, she was shocked to see the slave.

Sela didn't know why she was feeling threatened by the stunning lady she saw. She was very beautiful, more than the other slaves, more than her…

She grinned, her face with so much hatred and jealousy, and left secretly without making a noise.
