CHAPTER EIGHT Xanna gathered all the moss she could find, scouring the entire length of the stream up to the forest's edge, and set it out on large leaves to dry in the sun. Her next job was searching for various twigs and vines that were a close colour to Jidan’s wolfish front fur, carrying them all back to the camp and organising them into piles depending on what they were to be used for. The twigs she would carve up into small splinters and attach them to the lion part of him with tree sap.
