CHAPTER FIFTEEN
Even with the river tugging Boulderwise along, Yusumi, Xanna and Kai found they had to use the oars to prevent it hitting the sharp rocks jutting from the shallows to either side. With effort, they guided the boat back to the centre where the water was far deeper, easing their concerns about the hull being torn. When they neared the river's split, Yusumi stood up and used an oar to push against the rocks, angling the boat straight down the side they needed.
