Emily sent him something like an observation log, which recorded the dates of her meeting with Aaron and Aaron's condition.
On the second record, there would be a comparison, as well as the changes in Aaron's condition with the last one. Emily highlighted what she thought was important in different colors.
It was a detailed record. Derek noticed that even Aaron's doctors didn't do so. However, Emily was far more attentive and concerned about Aaron.
Derek walked to the balcony and lit a cigarette. Although he stopped smoking after living with Aaron and Ian, what happened today stirred his mood, and he needed a cigarette to calm himself down.
The cold wind blew away the smoke he puffed out. Derek looked in the distance, and Emily's records replayed in his mind.
