After dinner and my outburst, I retreated to the kitchen to clean up. That’s what I tend to do, clean when I’m angry or stressed, and I was both at this point. Stressed because of the situation I was in, and angry for letting Enzo have this s****l effect on me. I was livid with him and myself.
I was washing the dishes when I felt a large pair of hands on my waist.
“You don’t have to do that, y’know? I’ve got someone who does it for me.” I heard Enzo’s voice over my shoulder. I shrugged him off and walked into the bedroom without saying a word.
I entered the bedroom and turned the light off before climbing into the huge queen-sized bed and snuggling under the sheets. I don’t know how long it was before I fell asleep but Enzo wasn’t around when I did.
