Enzo “Good morning sunshine.” I said brightly as Lucia entered the kitchen half asleep. I passed her the cup of coffee I made her. “How come you’re up this early?” Her sleep voice pushing through. “Thought I’d drive you to work this morning. What d’ya think?” I smiled before I kissed on her cheek. “Sure, if you really wish.” She was unbothered and just took a swig of her coffee. “And I’ve arranged for us to go house hunting today.” I told her. “YOU WHAT?!” She spat her coffee out then quickly wiped it up with kitchen tissue. “Yeah, thought about what your dad said and it made sense.” I shrugged at her. “There’s really nothing wrong with this place.” She scoffed. “I know, but when we have kids, family round, bbqs in the summer, it would be nice to have the space to do all that.”
