"Push, baby, push. You got this!" I beamed as I held onto Lucia's sweaty hand.
"I hate you so much right nowwww!!!!" She screamed as she let out a mighty push.
"Come on baby, you got this. Push!"

With another push, I heard the scream of our baby. Not even a minute later, the nurse spoke up after wrapping her in a blanket and cutting the cord.
"Congratulations, you have a beautiful baby girl." She placed our new born on Lucia's chest.
I kissed Lucia's clammy forehead. And I'm not gonna lie. I cried a little. I mean not cried, cried, but I teared up, hard.
"Enzo." Lucia wept.
"You did it, beautiful. You did it." I whispered into her head as I stroked my daughter's cheek, who was now happily fast asleep on her mother's chest.
