I rolled over to discover Gwynn sitting beside me, a plate in one hand and a steaming mug in the other. “Rowena says you have to eat,” she announced with a smile, handing me the plate. “You said you wanted to be up again by one.” I bit into the toast, moaning happily. I was starving and delighted to discover there was no signs of nausea to upset the start of my day. “Do you feel better?” Gwynn asked, her eyes drifting across my face as she made her own assessment. After repairing the generators, I'd been both physically weak and suffering from a pounding headache.
