Leaning up against a building on the edge of the marketplace, Talon and I enjoyed our fruit as Poe and the knights approached. A lone woman ran erratically into the market, a child in her arms. She dashed around villagers and out the other side of the market. We paused in our chewing. Screams, distant screams. Instead of moving away, our group moved towards the unnerving sounds.
