We meet in the middle of campus with a few other people we know. The bar we are going to is pretty close, within walking distance. My stomach keeps clenching with the thought that Adolf is probably calling me, and my phone is in my room. I know that Esme made good points, and she’s right, but it doesn’t make it any easier. I’m essentially ignoring my fated mate, and I have no idea what’s going to come of that. “Everything okay?” I look up into the concerned face of my best friend. I plaster a smile on my face, though I’m sure it looks fake. “Everything is fine.
