Adolf was ready for the next step, and Ares was wholly on board. They have been watching Akia all night and knew that all they needed was a good distraction to get her alone. There wasn’t a rogue attack at all. They knew that the distance it would take to get to that border and back would be enough to get Akia and get out of here.
