“Hey guys!” We turn to find Esme walking up to us. I have no idea why she’s here right now because she’s usually in class.
“Don’t you have class right now?” Esme shrugs her shoulders as she falls into step with us.
“I didn’t feel like going. I’ve been hanging out and then I saw you two come out of class. Maybe we can get some food or something.” I shrug my shoulders and look at Matt. He nods his head in agreement.
Matt stops walking abruptly and turns to us. “I just remembered I have to see a teacher. They are letting me hand in an assignment late. I will meet you guys for lunch, just text me where to go.” He hugs us both and walks in the opposite direction. Esme and I continue forward, trying to decide where to go for lunch.
