After a few days, word began to spread about what Conor had done to the whole of Greece and how his army was spreading toward other empires. Different rulers came together to device a means to stop Conor and his machines but no matter what they said or did, Conor was unstoppable with the gem in his possession. Eventually they all began to submit one after another. Conor was still on the hunt for Linda and Zera who had gone into hiding after hearing what Conor had done. They did what they could to stay alive and tried their best to stay away from Conor's machines but it wasn't easy. After a few weeks, Linda had gone for to take a bath in a small stream. Conor's machines had heard the splashing and had quickly taken her to Conor. When Zera had waited for hours without seeing his wife, he had gone to look for her by the stream but he had only seen her clothes, the foot prints of the machines and their wedding ring which Linda had dropped while trying to escape from the machines. Zera dropped to his knees and cried his heart out but he knew it would be suicide to go back after Linda for Conor would have no problem killing him. He packed the rest of his property from the hiding spot and began to look for somewhere else he could hide Meanwhile, Linda had been brought before Conor who was very pleased to see her. “Linda, my love. I've been looking all over for you but I heard you left Greece the day I arrived. Any way it doesn't matter you're here now. Look Linda,I've done it. I've created the machines.” “I don't care about you or your machines Conor. This is madness. You're Killing lots of innocent people who have done nothing wrong to you. You're evil Conor. Return me to my husband at once. Return me to Zera...” “Shut up this minute! I am your new husband Linda. You know I've always had eyes for you but you still chose Zera over me. I could have given you the world Linda. I would have loved you like a queen, protected you like an egg... But it doesn't matter now. You're going to be my wife whether you like it or not.” “Conor please. I love Zera please don't do this. You have a wife Conor. Please.” “I had her killed for you Linda. Only you shall be my queen and only you shall bear me children. The servants are preparing the wedding preparations as we speak. I can't wait to have you all to myself Linda.” Linda was then dragged away by soliders and was locked in a room until it was time for the wedding. When she refused to say her wedding vows, Conor threatened to kill all the children in Greece and Linda had no choice but to marry Conor. After the wedding was completed, Conor forcefully consummated the marriage with Linda and then promised her happiness while she wept. Zera had moved on to a small shelter and had been taking in people who survived to stay with him. He began to build the shelter making it bigger and better and safer. After two years of being separated from each other, Linda got pregnant for Conor who was very excited to be a father. Linda thought many times of ending her life but she couldn't bring herself to kill the innocent life inside her. Zera heard the news and he knew the circumstances under which Linda had married Conor so he couldn't blame his poor wife. After nine months, Linda gave birth to a boy whom she named Zeus. She hoped he would be a ruler and bring back together everything that Conor, his father had scattered. Zera had also decided to move on with his life and had married Athens, a beautiful girl whose village had been destroyed by Conor when they refused to submit thinking they could destroy his machines. They had eventually failed and the survivors had found refuge in Zera’s camp. Three years after Zeus was born, Zera and Athens had a beautiful daughter. On the night she was born, the goddess Athena had appeared and had personally asked them to call the baby girl Athena. She was the one chosen to bring down Conor and she would be the one to restore all that Conor had destroyed. She was to be taught everything at a young age and she had to be trained with weapons for her to be able to defend herself. She then bestowed baby Athena with the mark of the sun at her back for all to know she was the chosen one. When Conor eventually heard about what the goddess Athena had said and done, he asked his troops to find the refuge and kill the baby Athena but they were never able to find it as the goddess had hidden it away from them. Conor refused to admit defeat and began to work on the ultimate drawing that would bring down Athena whenever she came out of hiding. “The gods have been watching all along. Old fools think a prophecy will stop me. They haven't seen anything yet...”
