THE RISING SUN cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. It dawned crisp and clear. The air felt just right. There was nothing wrong with the morning as we rode through the edge of the forest, further away from the castle. The just risen sun shone softly through the alcoves of the trees, bringing with it a flurry of early morning birds and the buzzing insects around the bushes. It was almost perfect and I almost hated it. The fact that it was perfect and flawless when it should have been miserable. It should be making me feel anxious and restless.
