Chapter 2: Sinful Night

"I've told her," Valerie smuggly sent Karl a chat.

His whole body stiffened.

"I told you I won't let you go off the hook until you face me and acknowledge this little thing." Came another message.

"Are you happy now?" He admonished.

"Of course I am! I gave you so much time to end things with her but you kept pushing your luck. It's the end of the rope, Honey. Also, my tummy is getting bigger by the day."

"I'm not breaking up with her!"

"Well good luck with that. I doubt she would still accept you after impregnating someone else."

He was so furious. How did things turn out like this? He was leading a beautiful life with Lexy. She is the love of his life. He can't imagine life without her by his side. She is the only woman he wants to marry and spend the rest of his life with. She is the only one who deserves to bear his children.

Lexy captivated his heart at first sight. She is such a beauty that all heads turn to her whenever she enters a room. A lot of guys dreamed to get her attention back then but her aloof and elegant aura made them so nervous making them hesitant to woo her. It was a good thing that he was bold and brave enough to tell her how he felt for her because despite being rejected many times, he got her in the end. It was only after they got together that he got to understand her personality. She looked aloof but it only because she wants to filter who enters her life, specially men. This is the effect of the trauma that her father caused her. She learned to build up a wall of defense so nobody else could hurt her. He got to meet the sweet and warm side of her. He felt so lucky that she fell in-love with him. But things are now crumbling down just because of one mistake.

Four months ago at 5pm, Karl met up with Barry. Barry was a client who requested to see him at the bar he owned. The firm he is working in is responsible for the construction of Barry's new bar branch. He arrived at the meeting place and saw his client sitting with a woman.

"Hey buddy, I hope you didn't have a hard time locating for our bar." Barry stood up and welcomed him in a friendly manner with a fist-bump.

"Your place is quite easy to find. No wonder it's a hit." He answered.

Barry then introduced him to the woman beside him who also stood up and was staring at him with wanton eyes. "This is my little sister, Valerie. She's a co-owner of this bar. This is Karl, the engineer."

"Oh come on, Barry! Stop calling me little. I am not little anymore, I am just young! I am your younger sister," Valerie complained to her brother. "Don't listen to him, Karl. Though I'm young, I know so many things that can drive someone crazy," she added coquettishly turning to him with a flirty wink.

Karl, who felt a sudden hint of discomfort, managed to extend his hands to shakehands with her. Valerie held his hand tight then poked his palm with her forefinger twice before letting it go. Her lips curved into a coyful smile.

"Hey, stop being playful. I know that you find him hot and attractive but you are making him nervous already. I now regret my decision of tagging you along to talk about the project with him," Barry chided his sister and apologized to him on her behalf.

Valerie stuck her tongue out to her brother. She then excused herself to get them something to drink while they discuss about the project.

Even if he felt uncomfortable initially, he put his guard back down after Valerie came back from getting their drinks and started acting normally. He stopped thinking too much about what happened earlier. He took it as her, just goofing around with him. Before their meeting ended, Barry received a call from his mother-in-law saying that his wife is about to give birth so he went ahead and left the the discussion to them to go to the hospital. Everything went on smoothly until they were done at pass 7pm.

He was about to leave when Valerie invited him to stay for dinner as their bar staff have prepaid for them to celebrate their cooperation. While they were waiting for the food to be served, she egged on him to drink some more. Before going to the bar that night, he was already in a bad mood. He had a small argument with Lexy which rooted from their busy schedule. It has been a month that they have been both so preoccuppied on their work that even when they are together, they are still focusing on their laptops. They both blamed each other for not giving much attention to their relationship. His sour mood at the time made him give in to Valerie's egging so easily, plus the drinks at the bar were really good. He didn't notice that he already got too much to drink until he felt a little dizzy and burning. He excused himself to go the bathroom but his steps staggered as he moved causing him to knock on a few tables.

Seeing that he already walks unsteadily, Valerie offered that he stay in one of the bar's private rooms to sleep for a while as he can no longer drive home. He agreed. He was already really drunk that he felt he was about to pass out. Lexy would be so mad if she finds out that he was driving under alcohol influence. Valerie walked him into the room and as soon as they entered, he fell into the couch, grabbing Valerie with him. He was too drunk that he mistook her of Lexy who fell on top of him. He chuckled. "Babe, I'm sorry I drunk too much. I'm sorry about a while back, too. Let's make up okay? Babe, will you kiss me?" With that, he savored Valerie's luscious lips.

"Oh, darling. I'm all yours tonight, but don't get to rough." she giggled while teasing him more down there with her hands.

Karl became more and more aggressive. He could not stopped touching her and grabbing her hands to make her play with his manhood. He felt he would explode if he didn't conquer her. Valerie secretly grinned thinking that she had won and hoping for the wild and unimaginable things to happen between them all night long...

He woke up at dawn and was so shocked to find himself naked beside Valerie. He can barely recall all the details of the previous night. The only thing he remembered was that he was with Lexy last night and they kissed with so much hunger. How come it is Valerie who ended up sleeping beside him now without any clothes on?

He picked up his clothes which were all scattered over the floor and quickly put on them and left the bar as fast as he can. During lunch that day, he received a message from Valerie. "Babe, last night...—was amazing," along with a heart eyes emoji.
