Olivia waited for Pedro to look her in the eyes and accuse her of wanting to harm Hannah. He was blinded by the promise he made to overlook Hannah's true intentions. No one in the room moved an inch, even Gabby was scared to say a word.
"You are the one who gave her the soup…'' Pedro said coldly, "her life is in danger… how can I trust you, huh?" he added, by now Olivia felt empty inside.
"Do you think I'd do that… for what?" she was hurt and looking at him, avoiding her gaze. It was enough for her to know he was accusing her of harming Hannah.
Olivia was certain men were the same. They only wanted something. Looking at Pedro. She knew he was not as he said he was.
The bitterness in his eyes was proof enough, clearly, he cared more about Hannah than anyone else in his life. P
