Why

Have this keep it close and keep it safe yours truly blue bird.

After reading that it's clear that when his mom would talk to the blue birds it was more than just crazy talk, she was really talking to them. I just don't I just don't know how this has to do with me. Well tomorrow everything will be better, and Grace can answer my questions.

Freddy: Hey got the player but I don't know how to get it working you know how to work this thing

.

To my surprise is I do know how this works at the last house before Jains the family would play home movies off of it. I put it together and get it set up the only thing is we need a big white sheet to put up.

Freddy: There's one in the storage closet I'll be right back.

Freddy gets back with the sheet we hanged it up right over the fireplace. As this little movie starts, we can see it's in the woods but then the screen gets bright and there's a fire. The missing girls are there and so is Grace and Freddy's mom. It's like they set up a camera to recorded what they were doing. Even though we can't hear what's going on in the video there is a sound in the background. Because everyone looks one way then they all start to run. Grace runs over and picks up the camera but then she drops it. It's pointing at the fire and a man walks up to it and through something in it and it turns blue then green then it goes dark. Next there is a bright light, and the camera is pointed away, but we can see a small outline a someone they are walking away and then someone picks up the camera. They start to walk away is what we think but then there is a fire aging, and everyone seems to be walking like they are in some trance but the only two girls that aren't there is grace a Freddy's mom. So now if this is what happened to all those girls then who had this tape and gave it up now. I really don't know how this has to do with me, but I think it's starting to come to gather. We go upstairs and go to bed and Freddy tells me that he wants to see his mom tomorrow.

Nova: Hey Freddy what's your moms name you never told me.

Freddy: her name is Lilac like the flower it was her mom's favorite flower.

Nova: That's beautiful see you in the morning and we will go see your mom it's no problem.

The room I picked to stay in for now has a lot of materials for sewing and it gives me an idea. The boxes I had to move around the room so I could find the bed and get some sleep have a lot of clothing in them that looks new but old at the same time. It's like the clothing in video and it looks just about my size. The fact that it's in such good condition it's amazing that I'm going to ask Lilac about them tomorrow. For now, I will have to get some sleep, so everything goes smoothly tomorrow. I wake up to the smell of waffles and coffee the box of clothes that was on the bed I can't help but start to look through them and come to find the same dress that she was wearing in the video. When I walk by the bathroom, I can hear a faint fluttering. So, I push the door open and there is a butterfly trying to get out of the window. I pull up on it and let it out and a burst of cold air hits me in the face. As it fly's away I hear Freddy coming up the stairs and he knocks on my door and says breakfast is ready. I come out of the bathroom and say that sounds great. He jumps and turns around really quick.

Freddy: Oh man you startled me there is waffles and coffee downstairs if you want some.

Nova: I would love a cup of coffee I feel like someone beat me with a baseball bat or it's just that bed. Oh, and that box of clothes in my room is that your moms' old clothes.

Freddy: Yes, it is. Why did you want to know?

Nova: Because I was going to ask your mom if she wouldn't mind me using them, I don't have a lot of clothes and I like what's in the box.

We get done with breakfast and head out to see Lilac but then we are stopped by a roadblock. There was a tree across the road it looks like it was pushed over by the wind. There was a lot of wind last night, so I'm not surprised that a tree was pushed over. We get the hospital and make our way to Lilac's room When we see the doctor coming out of the room. From the look on his face, it's not good news and Freddy looks scared for his mom. The doctor walks over and tells us that Lilac is doing a little better today but it's not like she's going home anytime soon.

Freddy: Well, if she doesn't have much longer then I need to talk to her about what she would like for me to do. If she can talk still.

Doctor: She can talk we just have her on oxygen and fluids, so she doesn't have any problems with her kidneys.

Freddy: Ok we will come see you before we leave ok, I just really want to see my mom.

We are told that's fine and to try and make our visit a little quick because she needs her rest, and we say ok. As we enter the room, she asks who's it and Freddy says it's me and Nova mom. The look of relief on her face is he one thing at makes me think about asking her what happened in the wood. Then I decide against it but Freddy askes her any ways. She then looks like she has seen a ghost.

Lilac: That night is something I wish to forget the girls didn't know what they were doing, and they got themselves hurt. They had heard of the legend and wanted to see if it was true. To their surprise it was I knew it was because even though Grace and I had only been a few years older we knew what would happen. Before they even asked us to show them where it was. The legend would go if you wanted to see a true witch then you need twelve people and they had to be around the same age. Grace said it was a very bad idea, but the others ran in knowing we would follow them. The first girl to stop and as where is the witch's hideout was the first to go. They didn't stop till we almost got to the edge of the cliff. The first person to ever look for a witch was a young girl about twelve and she was found at the bottom of the cliff. They said it looked like she was pushed from behind but never found the person others say she jumped because her mom and dad would hit her but only, she knows the truth. After that all twelve of her Friend wanted to ask her what happened and one of them found a spell board. They took it out in the woods and started asking questions but when they asked if they could see her one last time the board said no. It told them that she was dead and never coming back but if they really wanted to see her all they had to do was walk over to the cliff and look over it. Some of them wanted to stop and go home but then they heard a sound, and all started to run around. The first girl to run near the cliff was pulled over. Then is got really quiet and well they all stopped running around when they heard what they thought was a man asking them if they were ok. Someone yelled for help and a tall slime man appeared and stuck out his hand and said follow me. The first person to take his hand ended up wishing she had stayed home but the fire they had going to stay warm blew out and they were never seen again. The only one that came out of all that was found the next day in the water she almost died but for some reason she didn't.

Just as Lilac was going to tell us who she was talking about the doctor came in and said that she needed her rest and that we would have to come back tomorrow. Lilac looks at the doctor and tells him that she let us know when she is tired and when we need to leave. He just looks at her in shock like she was the first person to ever tell him that. He says fine if she feels ok to talk more then it's up to her.

Lilac: Now that he's gone the girl that made it through the night in that freezing cold river was someone that she came to know and love like family. The only thing is after we becomes friends a few days later she just disappeared. Then a year later I meet Grace and we became friends it's weird though because she reminded me of my previous friend. I never found out what her name was every time I would ask her what it was, she would change what we were talking about. I never even got to meet her mother or her father. She told me that she lived in the woods and if I wanted to stay the night with her it was ok because she had friends there. The one night that I was going to stay with her I asked where we were going to sleep, and she said right here under the stars. Then the next day she wasn't there but that night I had to go home because I started to heard sound all around us and then there was this voice that said follow me and I will help you out of here. I didn't see his face, but I could tell he was not as friendly as he made himself out to be. She turned around and ran away like she was scared of him. Then he said that if she was really my friend, she would have helped you then disappeared in the darkness.

Freddy: Well, it seems like you are getting sleepy mom so we will go ok.

Lilac: Ok that's fine and there is a box of some old clothes in one of the spare rooms could you take it to the thrift store for me. I have been meaning to take it for a good while now.

Nova: Well, I was going to ask you if I could have a few things out of there if that's ok.

Lilac: That's fine sweetheart and if you would keep an eye out for a package I'm supposed to be getting if it's not too much to ask for.

Nova: That's no problem but if I may ask what's in it.

Lilac: Just something that and old friend wants me to have or so the birds say.

Freddy: Well, you need some sleep mom, and we have a few things to go do so see you tomorrow ok.

We start to leave, and the doctor catches us right before we walk out the doors. He tells us that she will be doing physical therapy. It's so she has a better chance at possibly going home instead of staying here to much longer. Freddy says that's great, and he wants to know how she dose with it. The only thing is he doesn't know if her insurance will cover it but that's the price, he is willing to pay for is mom to come home better. I just don't get it why wouldn't that one girl tell her who she was I mean it's kind of strange don't you think.

Freddy: What are you thinking for dinner or should I just pick something up later. I could always get more pizza like last night. We can clean the house more to night to if you want it's just, I couldn't sleep last night. I didn't want to wake you up, so I stayed in my room.

Nova: I wouldn't mind cleaning a little later than we did last night, and the pizza was great. When we would have pizza at the house, I would get what everyone didn't want to eat, and it was always the vegetable pizza. I would also sleep in the tree house more than I would my room.

We get home and start cleaning we start to clean what looks like an office it hasn't been used in years. There's a lot of boxes in here they have paper in them not like the living room but more like important papers. I start to get the feeling that I'm not alone when I see a tall figure walking down that hallway. So, I grab a lamp that is next to me like it would help if it really mattered. Then the delivery guy pokes his head around the corner into the room. He asks me if there is a Freddy here. I tell him yes let me go find him but after looking every were even in the attic he's not here. I pay for the pizza and give the guy a good tip. I know how people are with tipping they don't really if they don't think they have to. I call Freddys phone but it's in the kitchen and the back door is open. I can see the shed door open and the darker it gets the harder it is to see back there. I have to go see if he's out there though just to make sure it's not another racoon or animal. Freddy keeps bird seed in the shed and has had to get a few unwanted friends out of there lately. I start out the door and it's getting darker by the second then I hear a sound in the shed and jump so hard I fall on my back. Freddy flashes his light in my face and says sorry that he didn't mean to scared me, but he did find a few things we could use in the house.

Freddy: I remembered my mom used the shed for a few things before we could get the attic open which was right before you moved in so. you ok it looks like that hurt. I'm really sorry about that.

Nova: It's fine the pizza guy scared me when I was cleaning but we got pizza, so I think it's time to go eat don't you?

Freddy: Yes, pizza time. So, how are you doing in the old office space it was my dad's until he passed away. My mom didn't even want to use it anymore, but I told her we would have to put things in here like the papers for the cars and house. She agreed to it but never really went in there after dad was gone. It's been one room I really need to go through to see where a lot of things went. Because I couldn't find them in the attic, so they have to be down here.

Nova: That pizza place is the best because I know we asked for extra cheese and this is the cheesiest pizza ever. Does it bother you when people ask you about the house or is it normal by now? I know it's been here since the town was founded and there has been a lot of offers on it.

Freddy: There hasn't been one since last October so everything's good. The only thing is that there was this one lady that wanted to come into the house. I thought that was a little weird it was like she was trying to get in here to fine something.

We get done with the pizza and go back to cleaning I clean all the way to one of the walls. I try to stack some boxes up against it, but they won't stay straight up against the wall. It's like the wall is pushing them a little so I fell up on the wall and there is a seam in the wallpaper. I think there's something behind it, but I ask Freddy about it first.

Freddy: It is where they stopped when they put new wallpaper up. This room was covered in a flower wallpaper, but my dad changed it because it was his office, so he picked this god-awful green I don't know what he was thinking. The only thing is that side of the room is like uneven. I mean the wall has always been like pushed in a little bit like there's been a door there before. The only thing that we couldn't find was the bases meant door. I can go get the blueprints for the house so we can see what the reason might be.

Freddy runs upstairs to get them while I feel the wall and it does seem like something was here but not like a door. Like a painting was taken down or out of the wall. Then I feel what I think is a hole behind the wallpaper. Hey, Freddy, do you have some spare keys.

Freddy: What do mean? Like for the house?

Nova: Yes, is there a really old key with them?

Freddy: Well, there is this set of keys that came with the house when my mom got it from her mom. We could never figure out what they went to. Mom just put them in the desk after we moved in, she thought maybe dad could find out what they went to. He never really got around to it, so I guess it's up to me now.

As I fell the wall for the hole Freddy comes over with the keys and is trying to push them through the wallpaper. After about two or three minutes of pushing he stops and makes a small hole in the paper. He gets the key behind the paper a little and then he makes a hole as big as his hand then he grabs the paper and rips it off the wall. We stand there in awe at the big old rusty door that looks like it's out of a scary movie. It looks as if the way it was put in was to either keep someone in or out of were ever this door leads to. Freddy gets the keys out and starts to try them he then looks at me and speaks.

Freddy: I don't want you to follow me in here and if you hear something even if it's me yelling you slam and lock this door because it's my house no one should have to see whatever is in there but me.

Nova: You are crazy if you think I'm going to let you go int there all by yourself. You're my only friend I need you here and so does your mom.

Freddy doesn't fight me on who's going into the new room, but he does get a light. We put the key in the hole turn it and push. Freddy clicks the light on and starts to feel for a switch when he hits it and the light comes on it's like. we jumped back in time and landed in the eighties. This room looks like it was sealed off and never opened until now. I think it looks really cool and I would love to have had a room like this.

Freddy: This is so cool why would anyone ever try to hide this room?

Nova: I don't know but there's a reason and we are going to find out.

As we look around the room for clues as to who's room it was but just let me say it was in fact a boy's room. The movie posters and everything placed where it seems like it's a mess but really very put to gather. The posters look like they have never been touched but the one time when they were put up on the wall. I start looking around the book shelves and the record player to see if there might be some thing that has a name on it. The only thing I fined is what looks like a shopping list with just a few things on it. The ink is faded and hard to read so I don't bother picking it up.
