Inside the huge marble-white halls of college, Aria breathed nervously as her best friend held her fingers tightly. Her anxiety was getting the best out of her, ever since the day of her final presentation. Aria Hills, it was her turn for the presentation. "Next is Aria Hills." The professor nodded slightly. Professors with stoic faces were sitting at the front of the podium as she wobbled across the huge halls toward the platform. She was about to start when she caught sight of a familiar, beautiful face. "No, it is not possible. Please forget him, Aria. No, this is not happening to me today. Get hold of yourself, Aria! She screamed inwardly. Sitting across from her in the middle of the professors who are here to judge her today is what seems like an illusion of the handsome guy from the rain. No, it isn't possible; let's calm down here." She shut her eyes and breathed hard. "What's wrong with that student? "The coldest looking professor said angrily." "Do you think she is having a nervous wreck?" Another female professor whispered. Among the audience, someone was angrily glaring at her. "What the hell is wrong with you? Speak up!" The blue-eyed blonde whispered angrily. Earlier today, an unknown person texted the CEO of Eragon Multidollar Corporation. I have found her. She opened her eyes and summoned courage to start talking, when she caught sight of him still sitting among the professors, staring at her lazily with a bored expression. Is he real? "Miss Hills, when are you planning to start?" The angry professor yelled. Now, sir, I'm sorry for everyone," she bowed her ninety-degree and summoned inner courage to finally start. "I ....I am...umm.... Hills Ariana from the faculty of pure science and, um, precisely, the department of chemistry, started a bit stuttering and clumsily managed to finish before the given time. "Thank you," She bowed and hung her head in shame as she walked back to her seat. Wow, you did excellently well, girl." Her best friend clapped in awe. At the end of the event, Aria saw the professor exchanging a few greetings with the handsome young man. "Umm...who is he?" She asked Janet, making her voice sound casual as normal while staring at him. "Who is the famous heir of Eragon Multidollar Corporation?" How could you not know him? He is all in the business news ever since he became the CEO; Janet muttered in shock." Are you sure? You live on this Earth with us. "No, I don't, and I don't care," she said dryly and stood up, leaving the door. "You asked me a question, and now you said you don't care. And definitely, no good will come out of it. Janet, as the famous social bee, will do everything in her power to drag her to him for connection. Right now, she is too shy for that. She just wished for a tiny hole to bury herself in. "She sighs and continues to slowly walk down the corridor." I will see you again, frail kitten," a lazy smirk spread hands on a handsome, charming guy. .*********************************** At the end of the week, all her classmates hangout and chill out at the club for the weekend. Planning their college after-party in earnest. Janet invited her to come over, but she declined; instead, she spent her Saturday rolling endlessly on her bedsheets, lost in crazy thoughts. Her mind was in turmoil lately, and the fact that she couldn't bring her mind to settle with the fact that he was from a different powerful status and world from hers was turning her mind into turmoil. The worst she could do was get hold of her emotions; sometimes she was balling her eyes out, another time she was angry and throwing fits around, and other times she just seemed helpless as she stared at her ceiling. "What witch cast this horrible spell on me?" She sighs and gets out of bed late at night. She walked quietly, fearing not to wake anyone up. Reaching the mini dining table, she grabbed the jug and poured herself water. Cupping them down in a go, she was about to turn and leave. "Oh my God!" Her aunt shrieked in fright. The sight of the girl in a white dress with long hair, looking pale, and those big bags of dark circles made everything crazy and scary. "Why are you walking around looking like that?" her aunt cried, holding her chest tightly in pain." I'm sorry, aunt," she said and circled to her room. Her aunt stared at her: "Who knows what the hell is wrong with her?" "She has not been down from her room all afternoon, and now she looks pale. Is she sick or something? The woman muttered with a worried expression. That Sunday, Aria Hills cried and begged the Lord to break the love spell. "Please help me regain my sanity back; I am really losing it, please, Dear Lord," she cried hard. Late at night, Janet called her to inform her about some stuff. Janet: Hi, Girl, what's up? (Giggled) Aria: Hey, she said dryly. Janet: You know you have been acting oddly these days. Do you remember tomorrow is the interview? (A thick, heavy scroll appears on her face). Aria:hmmm Janet: whatever. Just cut it out with whatever hell is wrong with you. And dress well and also act normal tomorrow. Aria: Okay (she replied in a bored tone) Janet: Yeah, take care girl (the line instantly went dead). ************************************** The next morning, the interview came, and in no time they were done. "You crazy money-lover," Janet mocked loudly, and she slung her arm around her. She recalled the moment when one of the recruiters asked what her purpose was for joining them. She sharply and simply said, "For the purpose of making money." Of course, those recruiters were stunned by her words. "Your straight honesty is going to get us in trouble," her friend said playfully. Give me some break. Can't I take after you peace" the brunette said lazily. "Speaking about that", she rolled her eyes as they walked through the huge glass revolving door. While heading outside," Umm....what if I don't want money?
