I can tell he’s confused with the way I throw those words at him and for real it feels somehow.
“He’s not the father of your kid?” He repeated my words and I heaved a deep breath.
“Like a few months ago, I woke up in some forest part of the world and it turns out that it’s some universe apart from this normal world” I started and he stands on his feet immediately hugging me tightly.
“It’s you! It’s you Emma, I knew I can never be wrong about what I saw in you immediately and I thought I was crazy! I thought I lost you forever to that damn universe and I couldn’t even come to save you Emma” he said with hot tears streaming down his face.
