"I'm sorry; my aunt is a jerk. I'm going to bed because I'm sure she won't let me go. "I'll wake up at 3 a.m., let's go running," Seraphine said. "Goodnight," she said as she kissed Elijah once more.
"You adore birds, my God. Even though you're together every day, it's still difficult for me to separate you from him. Do you miss me after only three nights?" As the door opened and Seraphine emerged, Mara exclaimed.
"Aunt, I assisted Elijah in organizing his belongings; let's go; I'm sure Samantha is tired of waiting," Seraphine responded. She snatched Mara's shoulder and pushed her into the bedroom.
"You're still trapped. I'd like to hear Elijah's and your stories!" Mara exclaimed as she opened the door.
"Hey there," Samantha says. She is sitting in bed, staring at the screen.
"How did you decide what to watch?" Seraphine inquired. She sat down beside Samantha.
"Samantha is afraid to choose, so I made the decision, and look what's in my hand!" Mara lifted the three bottles of beer from her mini refrigerator inside her room.
"Both of you are of legal drinking age," Mara said as she handed the bottle to Seraphine and Samantha, who were still surprised.
"Thank you," Samantha said as she sipped her beer.
"Atta girl," Mara laughed as she drank her beer.
"It's all your fault if we don't get up early," Seraphine exclaimed, knocking over the bottle she was holding. It's a light beer, so it's not overly bitter or sweet.
Mara chooses to watch a Romance film, so whenever there is an intimate scene between the leads, Mara teases Serapahine, making Samantha smile.
They finish watching two movies because of those who enjoy them. Samantha fell asleep almost immediately because they didn't even keep track of how many beers they had.
"Aunt, please take care of her," Seraphine said, adjusting Samantha's blanket and removing the strands of hair that covered her face. Samantha has been through a lot, and I'm afraid she won't be able to forgive herself," Seraphine chimed in.
"Please tell me what happens. Nothing should be hidden. "If we know everything, we can help Samantha better," Mara replied.
Seraphine began to tell the story of what happened from the night of her birthday until the night Samara's mother Luna Elizabeth and the child in her womb died.
"I'm proud of you because you didn't abandon your friend and chose to forgive and forget. "Don't worry; we'll assist Samantha until she heals and is free," Mara assured.
"That's my wish for her as well," Seraphine said.
"Now tell me about your love life. "How did the prince become your mate so quickly?" Mara posed a query.
"I told you last time I found my mate, but I didn't know who he was," Seraphine murmured.
"What's the final score?" Mara teasedly inquired.
"Now that we're madly in love with each other, can we sleep?" Seraphine responded with laughter.
Elijah smiled as he closed his eyes in the other room because Seraphine said he was there, especially the last part. He fell asleep again after calming down in the other room.
Seraphine's promise to Elijah to run at three o'clock in the morning was broken because she did not wake up. So Elijah left the house alone and circled the entire stress near Seraphine's family's home.
As with the Emerald Pack, many are on the street and moving slowly, while others are preparing to open their businesses.
Elijah laughed because the 'human world' is more modern than the wolf world. He had apparently stopped paying attention to the time when he decided to return home.
With no top covering his body, Elijah drew the attention of the locals, particularly the women.
Some of the girls even followed him around.
"Good morning, grandma," Elijah said as he approached the gate and noticed Sarah cutting the dead leaves from her plants.
"Elijah, it appears that you have captured the attention of the girls in the neighbor," Sarah observed when she noticed the girls outside.
"I think so as well; Seraphine will kill me for this," he jokingly said.
Elijah enters the house briefly to take a shower. He then brewed coffee for them.
"Thank you," Sarah said as she sat in the chair in the middle of her small garden.
"How is life with humans treating you, Grandma?" As he sat in front of Sarah, Elijah inquired.
"Peaceful, there are difficulties but no bloodbath. That's why I want Seraphine's family to live here, because she won't be safe as long as she's in 'wolves world,'" she explained. "But it doesn't appear to be happening anymore because what the Goddess of the Moon gave her was an Alpha with packs and princes who needed to protect her lead," she added, sadly looking at Elijah.
Elijah sipped his coffee quietly, not responding to Sarah's words.
"Good morning, Grandma, and good morning, Prince Alpha... I apologize for not waking up at three o'clock."
When Elijah noticed Seraphine approaching them, he smiled, while Sarah frowned.
"Young lady, your loved one will leave you if you wake up looking like that in the morning!" You're a shambles! Quick! "First, take a bath!" Sarah screamed.
Luna's hair was still messy, and she had obviously not combed it, so she appeared to be fainting.
Seraphine had clearly just awoken to go looking for Elijah.
Seraphine came to a halt in the middle of the balcony and frowned her way back inside the house to find her grandmother.
"I'm sorry, Seraphine grew up in the mountains and was raised by an old man who only knew how to fight, so Seraphine wasn't taught the proper manners of a young woman," Sarah explained, attempting to defend her granddaughter.
"Seraphine is perfect, and I appreciate you teaching her the proper way to live," Elijah replied. "As for your wish for Luna's family to live in this world, I don't mind if she decides to stay. I'm a Tribal Prince and the Alpha of the pack, but I'm also Seraphine's mate. "I can do it all," he added.
"Very well said, then it's up to Seraphine and her parents," Sarah said, smiling.
