SEBASTIAN'S POV  I was passing through the east wing, heading to my office, when I caught her scent. Vanilla and something wild, something uniquely hers. My wolf perked up immediately, a restless energy flooding my veins. Jessica. I shouldn't seek her out. I should let her have space, let her breathe. But my feet moved on their own, following that intoxicating scent like a man possessed. Then I heard it. Her laugh. Light, genuine, the sound she never made around us anymore.
