May First Stickles did as he was asked by the devil on that terrible April Fools Day. He wandered around Rexford village and made it known who he was and the reception he received was far from friendly. People despised him, told him to leave, made it known in no uncertain terms that a Stickles was not welcome in their village, or anywhere near it. For some reason, none of this bothered him, he just smiled and went on his way. Even when physically threatened, all he said was, “Your threats do not bother me, in time I will bother you, so be on your way”.
