The Storm Willy left the Stickles farm and rode along, whistling as he went as though he did not have a care in the world. He felt pleased with himself having been in the yard even if he did not enter the house. There was something very eerie about it. Caution coursed through his veins again as he approached the island, he stopped whistling. At the water's edge, the pony stopped, and he looked across the shallows to the island. It was very quiet as he crossed to the other side. A tree grew near the bog — the same tree that Hilroy had used to try and save himself from sinking.
