I sighed in frustration as I looked at the updated schedule on my phone. Technical issues were said to have been sorted out by the in-house IT, but for some reason the app showed my class to be taking place all the way across campus, far beyond the Abernathy Law Institute area of the campus.
The way the app worked was you needed to scan your phone on the electrical pad at the lecturer’s desk in order to be marked as present; and it had to be the venue that was displayed on your university profile. I had to explain to my lecturer in each class that I was having problems and then asked if I could sign a sheet instead to prove that I had indeed attended the right class.
