First they head to the hotel. “It’s just an early afternoon,” Alex says and turns around in the car to face Florence, “We’re going out tonight. However, I like to freshen up before such events, so you’ve got some time for yourself.” Mark drives them to the front of the hotel and they both get out.
“Let’s meet at the main lobby at 8 pm,” Alex says and gets to the reception desk. Florence is happy that she’ll get some space away from Alex. They’ve spent practically whole week together. She guesses Alex can’t live without someone accompanying her.
Florence is eager to get back to her room, so she could call Audrey. It’s around lunchtime back home, so Audrey will have some time to talk.
