Florence’s heart trembles, eager to taste Alex’s lips. However, she suddenly remembers about Audrey. “Um, I don’t think we should,” she says and stops Alex from leaning in.
Alex’s smile is frozen. Florence laughs nervously and says, “I just shouldn’t rush any decisions, you know. I haven’t broken up with Audrey appropriately yet. Plus, nothing has changed- I don’t even know you that well.” It makes Alex annoyed to hear Florence refusing her another time. She just has to get her to like her, but she won’t make it happen if she pushes it too much.
Alex scoffs, stands up, looks up for something in her phone. It’s an audio file. She clicks to play it and throws her phone carelessly before sitting back down in the chair.
