“No, I wasn’t in a bird sanctuary.”
And no, his office did not overlook a strip of wilderness. The sounds came from inside the newsroom. From somewhere along the oblong-shaped arranged news desk. More specifically from the new intern.
The intern, the utterly luscious Joanie B, appeared oblivious to the fact she produced noises that could be interpreted as transgressive. They were sounds which everyone in the newsroom felt compelled to constantly refer to. It had to be said, they sounded very erotic.
One reason for Joanie’s obliviousness to hear sounds was her partial hearing problem. It transpired that she was aware of them
