Alpha Andrew’s POV
On hearing the growl from Andrea, I stood up from my throne. I wanted to rush out to her, but one of the elders, elder Stark held me tightly and whispered, but the whisper was loud enough for those around me to hear.
“You must not interrupt the process Alpha.” He said to my dismay.
“But she has had her first shift, what exactly is happening to her” I uttered.
I was furious that I was expected to just remain here and look on as my daughter cries out on pains.
“This is a sacred process Alpha, there in absolutely nothing you can do but to remain here and watch” Another elder, Lucas said in a firm tone.
Paige slowly dragged me back to my throne. I looked at the luna, tears filled her eyes at the sight of her daughter’s pain. Jasper was trying to calm her down and also prevent her from running out to Andrea.
“haaaaaaaa” Andrea groaned loudly.
The effect caused the foundation of the pack house to tremble. Suddenly, she turned completely pure white with a mixture of glittery gold, and having the same radiance just as the sun. At this, she became quiet instantly.
I was completely still at this revelation, I was affixed to my spot, unable to move any part of my body, or to even utter a single word.
The hall was illuminated by the light coming from Andrea. The whole place was quite, as quite as a grave yard.
The other teenagers that had shifted into their wolf form for the first time, were all looking at Andrea.
Suddenly a great wind blew across the hall, and Andrea shifted into her wolf. The size of the wolf has greatly doubled in size from the last time I saw it. Now it’s almost at five feet.
I watched on as the wolves of her peers lined up in front of her and genuflected. Andrea’s wolf lets out a loud growl and then a double came out from it, looking exactly like the first.
Everyone in the hall, stood up and shifted into their wolves and all genuflected to Andrea’s wolf, those that could not shift, all bowed with their heads touching the ground. I and my luna shifted to our wolves, and also genuflected to our dear Andrea.
The wolves of Andrea joined together, and she shifted back to Andrea. Everyone of us followed suit and shifted back too.
After shifting back to our human form, I and the elders immediately left the hall to have an urgent meeting. We have to figure out all that just happened.
Andrea’s POV
I still can’t believe what happened to me some minutes ago. I have more than one wolf, this is unbelievable.
Dahlia had just explained to me that I can shadow shift into multiple wolves, as many as I want to.
She told me that it is only the gods that come to the earth and take werewolves forms that has such kind of wolf, our wolf.
“It just occurred to me Dahlia, we are supposed to find our mate any moment from now” I said to Dahlia.
I looked around, and noticed that some of my peers were already discovering their mates.
The sight was so lovely, the way they grab their mates when found is nothing to be compared, a love so pure and almost perfect. It was as if the whole world becomes lost to them, and only them and their newly found mates exists.
I noticed Consty walking up to me, in a slow motion, looking at where I was seated. The joy I felt knew no boundary. As I watched him come closer, I could feel the whole world falling behind me.
But somehow I felt an eye gazing at me. I turned around to see Eddy, who immediately looked away as I looked towards him. He walked away from where he was standing as if in search of someone.
As Consty draws nearer, I noticed something odd about his gaze, he wasn’t looking at me, but right behind me. I turned to see whom it was that was getting his attention, and I saw Brenda, lost in her world. I was still trying to figure out what exactly was going on when I heard someone say,
“Mate”.
I turned to see where that was coming from, and I discovered that Consty and Brenda had both echoed the word ‘mate’ to themselves. I watched as Consty grabbed Brenda and gave her a deep kiss.
“I think we should retire for the night Andrea, you need more rest than you think you deserve”
I turned to see Lilium by my side with her hand stretched out to hold me.
“You didn’t find your mate Lilium?. I murmured.
I searched her eyes for answers.
She smiled at me, and I could see the answers in her smile.
“It’s been a really long night Andrea, and I think I should be by your side at this time”. She said.
I looked at her, hoping that by the so many things, she wasn’t by chance referring to Consty and Brenda. They are my friends and their happiness is my utmost priority. She understood what I meant, and quickly added.
“Come on Andrea, how can I?”
I smiled and held her hands and we went out of the hall and headed for my room.

Alpha Andrew’s POV
I paced around the room, I was trying to absorb all that had happened. All the elders together with Paige and Jasper were seated and deliberating on Andrea’s shift. I couldn’t bring myself to listen to what they were saying, I was tensed as I tried to figure out everything on my own.
I was still pacing when elder Stark’s said to me
“Alpha, there is absolutely nothing to be worried about.”
On hearing this, I rushed to sit down. And he continued.
“She has the spirit wolf or better still, spirit wolves. But our major concern should be that this kind of thing only happens when the gods take a human form to live among men, it is only only them that have been known to have spirit wolves”.
He looked at the others to hear what they have to say.
“And that brings us to the question, who is Andrea, why has she come to dwell amongst us, what prophecy does she holds” elder Lucas said.
There was total silence in the room, each elders looking at the other, their eyes begging for answers.
I on my part was reluctant to say all I know to them. Truth is, I don’t even know where to start talking from. How would they take this revelation. I inhaled deeply, knowing that as it stands now, I can’t comfortably hide the truth for long.
“These questions must be answered” An elder said.
Others murmured in agreement.
“We must consult Jon immediately, there is no way such a thing would not have been revealed to him before now” Elder Stark suggested.
They all accepted his suggestion, and echoes of yes filled the room.
“No, there would be no need for that” I said.
The elders all turned to me, with surprise boldly written on their faces.
“Why would you say so Alpha?”. Elder Stark asked in bewilderment.
“Yes Alpha, Jon should be able to provide answers for our questions. So why would you not want us to consult him. Or do you have a better suggestion?.” One of the elders added.
“No, not that I have another” I answered.
“Then what is it?”. Elder Lucas asked.
I stood up from my seat, walked to the end of the room and stood with my back facing them. I thought to myself for some time, and finally arrived at the conclusion that the time has arrived to let them know everything.
“Andrea was prophesied to me years ago, in my teens”.
Saying this, I turned to face them.
The whole room was completely silent as if chilled water had been poured on each and every one of them. Ignoring their disposition, I continued
“Jon prophesied of a battle that was yet to come, and that Andrea would be born solely to fight the battle and safe werewolves from an evil yet to take it’s form.”
I looked at the faces of each and every one of them, their faces were still filled with confusion. I can not blame them though, cause even I that received the prophecy first hand was yet to make any sense out of it.
In other not to leave them hanging, I took my time to narrate everything to them, right from when I was instructed to kill the cat, to when I paid Jon a visit to ask about the rogues. When I finished, the whole place was quiet, none of the elders knew what to say or how to react to all they have just heard.
“Now you all know everything” I said to them.
“Who has anything to say?” I added.
I could see that they were all lost in their own thoughts.
“I can’t believe you had to bear this burden all along Alpha, you are truly stronger than you appear” Elder Stark said.
I gave a nod and looked at the rest, expecting more inputs from them.
“So what did Jon said about her having the spirit wolves, such don’t come to mere werewolves.” An elder asked.
“We have to go to him to find out about the spirit wolves”. Elder Lucas said.
He was looking at me for an approval.
“There is no need going to Jon, absolutely none. He has very limited answers to give about Andrea. And as he had always told me, all we can do is to patiently await her guardian or helper, whichever one comes, there lies all the answers we seek” I said.
The elders looked at each other without altering any word, each shocked by the news he had just received.
