SIXTEEN *THE FIERCE BATTLE*

1609 Words
I wonder where I got the strength to scream as loud as I just did. I was yet to come up with a plan on how to defeat these fierce looking rogues surrounding me, so what gave me the guts to challenge them. And just then I felt it, Dahlia, she is now one with me. Dahlia had taken my form and we shone brightly, our colour, a pure white and of glittery gold, this almost made the rogues go blind. I stared in bewilderment. Obviously what they bargained for is not as expensive as this. They are undeniably here to quickly take on a little girl, go their way and continue on the next adventure that presents itself. This whole thing is beginning to feel like more than they could handle. I stared at their frightened faces, and I wished for nothing more than to devour them, tear them into pieces, feed them their own meal, their own pounds of flesh. I have never felt this much anger and hatred for anyone before. I had always had a forgiving and understanding nature, and I tend to be very lenient towards others because I consider them to be of a lower specie and vulnerable towards me. But for these rogues before me, they deserve no mercy from me, they only deserve judgement, sentencing and execution and aren’t even entitled to a right of appeal. Just then, I felt pains within me, I could hear the sound of my bones breaking. I saw myself shifting from my human form into a sparkling glittering gold coloured wolf. The rays from the wolf shone too bright, as bright as the sun. My wolf was huge, just the same size as the leader of the rogues. It gazed at the leader, trying to measure his strength. Dahlia took this decision all alone and I am so glad she did. After I shifted, I walked round in circles, ready to launch my attack. I plan on showing no mercy in this fight. I am ready for the worst. I am prepared for anything, but whatever happens, my friends must be safe, and for their sake I must win this fight, losing is not an option at the moment. The fears in the eyes of the rogues have vanished, and they seem very ready to fight. They must be really tough then, because the aura emitting from my wolf is strong enough to cause panic to the strongest of warriors, but here, they are ready for a fight. I hope they are prepared for what is about to hit them because whenever I say I am ready, I am ready. Without giving a second thought, I jumped on the leader. It was a swift move, and he wasn’t expecting it, at least not this soon. But all is fair in love and war, and being fair is far from what I want to be right now. I bit hard on his neck, he groaned in pain. It was a surprise attack, I didn’t give out any hint of the attack. I held my teeth tightly on his neck refusing to let go. He struggled with all the strength in him, and finally he fell on the ground, bleeding from the deep cut on his neck. Seeing the state of their leader on the ground, two of the rogues attacked me from behind, one of the rogues used it’s fist to tear at my back. The tear hurt real bad. I let go of the leader after satisfying myself that I have released enough syrup into his system to make him very weak. I turned around for the rogue that was tearing at my back, it was the very dark wolf. I quickly flipped my body and he landed on the ground. I used my teeth and carried him by the leg. I fling him so hard into the woods, and he hit a tree in the woods. The force caused the tree to break into two. He landed on the floor groaning in pain. Chard was staring at us from where he was standing. He could not partake in the fight because he was yet to fully recover from the effect my spell had on him. I took on the remaining two rogues. One of them bite me on my hands while the other targeted my face. They fought with all that was left in them. They fought for their lives. They were taking on me. It was as though my strength was going to fail me. I looked at the direction of my friends. I saw them staring at me from their hiding, their faces were expressionless as they couldn’t fully translate what they were seeing. I thought of all they meant to me. My Lilium, dearest Consty, my ever ready Brenda, the memories, the bound we all share. They deserve victory, and I owe them one. I let out a mighty growl that caused a great wind to sweep across the woods and my garden. The effect of the wind destabilized the rogues. I ceased this chance to tear at the both of them, I used my fist to plucked out the eyes of the rogue that had bite at my hands and he let out a loud scream and ran into the woods. The the fight ground was a terrible sight to behold, blood everywhere. It was as if two elephant had fought here. The last rogue was already badly injured, they was no strength left to continue in the fight. I was wounded also, but in this fight and for my dear friends I wasn’t going to give up, I wouldn’t show any mercy to them. I started hearing sounds of people approaching, and the rogue I was taking on sensing this might just be the end for him used his last strength to throw me into the air. This move was not predicted by me, so I lost hold of him and flew right into the air. All the rogues immediately took to their heels, running back into the woods. The effect of my fall was great. I have never lost control as I just did. In pains, I shifted back to my human form. I stood up with the last strength in me, found my clothes and dressed up. I fell back on the ground after wearing my clothes. I was already dehydrated. The activity had worn me out completely. I passed out for few minutes. ***************************** I opened my eyes to see uncle Jasper by my side, staring at me. I looked around and saw the other warriors. “You are here just in time uncle Jasper” I managed to say “I need some water”. I requested One of the warriors brought a bottle of water to me which I gulped down in one sip. “I am better now” I said after finishing the drink. The water had made me regain a hundred percent of my strength, now I feel the fight never happened. All the pains have disappeared. The pack doctor had noted that my body heals over seventy percent faster than that of an average wolf. I have never had a scar for up to one minute in my entire life. “Andrea, the good news is that I found your friends hiding over a bunch of flowers, and they have refused to come out. What can you say about” uncle Jasper interrogated me. “Oh, them” I replied. I am the only person that can get them to come out they are still under my tiny manipulation. I got up, went to where they were and asked them to come out. They came out all looking so terrified. It’s obvious my fear drain had left them. I don’t know for how long that had been, but I just hope it’s not for so long. *Don’t worry Andrea, the drain expired when the warriors arrived*. Dahlia assured me. I heaved a sign of relief. I can’t bear having any of my friends suffering from an after effect from the event of today. *Thanks Dahlia, I owe this victory to you. I know I deserve none of your help today* I said to Dahlia. *You deserve every thing I did today Andrea, I have come to realize it’s destiny, and very little can be done about it* Dahlia said, bringing me at peace with myself. “See uncle Jasper, they are all fine” I said showing my friends to him. “take a look at each and every one of them, they are perfectly okay”. I said trying to see if he would notice anything odd about any of them. “Who can tell me without leaving out any detail of what exactly happened here” I heard my father roared as he stepped out from the car that had brought him. He rushed into the arena, followed by beta Paige, running behind him. My father looked around the garden in confusion, he was obviously searching for us. He saw uncle Jasper standing with us, he rushed to our direction and almost pushed uncle Jasper who was fast enough to get out of the way for him. “My Andrea, Consty, Lilium, Brenda, are you guys okay?” he said touching each of us to know if any harm came to us. “What happened here?” he asked us.
