FIVE *MIND MANIPULATOR*

To say that I was shocked would be an understatement. Did Andrea just say that she could hear my mind link to Paige, does it mean she intercepts in-between links, exactly how great could this be?

I looked at Paige, but dude appeared to be even more confused than myself. What exactly is the strength of her interception, is it going to be to close family and friends, or would it be to the entire pack, or maybe it would be universal?”

Should this be celebrated, or should it be a cause of concern?. No, this shouldn’t pose a threat. It should be to Andrea’s advantage, to our advantage, the pack’s advantage. I am going to unravel this, I would see exactly where this takes us all.

Paige’s POV

What just happened, is Andrea for real? Of course I knew she won’t be joking. She can intercept through mind link? This is powerful.

Of course, she just mind linked the entire pack army just some moment ago. In fact, that was even greater than a mind link, she commanded them to go to her at her exact location without even saying anything to them.

I looked at the Alpha, I knew he was waiting for me to say something. If only he had not allowed himself to be clouded by fear, he would known the right thing to do at the moment, he would have known that the only person to talk to right now would be the mother of the girl, the luna. She alone shares that special connection with her daughter, a connection that can never be shared with another.

“Okay beta, are you still expecting me to ask you what is to be done?”

The alpha asked me, his face looks defeated.

I intend to let him know that we would need the assistance of the luna right now. So I was calm in my response.

“I have already mind linked the luna to come over immediately alpha, she is the mother of the girl, and would be able to understand her better. She can explain this”

Just then the door opened and the luna entered looking worried and confused. “What happened, is she okay?”

She rushed over to grab Andrea, looking over her from head to toe, to inspect if any harm had happened to her dear daughter.

“She is fine luna, just that her powers are manifesting greatly.” I replied.

The luna inhaled deeply and became a bit relaxed on realizing that nothing bad happened to her Andrea. She smiled and sat close to Andrea.

“Okay I am all ears, what happened?” she asked.

“Luna,” I began,

“Earlier today, while at the garden, Andrea mind linked the entire pack army to come to her rescue before she passed out.”

I narrated while the luna listened calmly.

“And as it is, it appears Andrea cannot only mind link, but can also intercept between mind links.”

The luna listened attentively to my narration and when I was done, she said.

“Okay Andrea, do you want to tell me about anything, what is beta Paige talking about?”

“Mummy, it’s okay, I was in a very terrible situation earlier today and that’s what brought out my mind linking powers. I think I can communicate a thousand words in a second to over a thousand persons. It’s nothing to worry about, it’s all for my good”. Andrea replied.

I was marbled on how she was able to pacify her mother in just a few words. She is a little girl no doubt, but her wisdom surpasses the wisdom imbibed in grey hairs.

The Alpha asked “so what about the interception little angel, how were you able to do that?”

“It’s a total package daddy, I believe I can manipulate the human mind positively. I can’t tell at the moment daddy as to what extent I can go with this mind linking and interception powers. But I am still normal right?” Andrea asked looking directly at the Alpha and waiting for his reply.

The Alpha appeared rather confused and speechless. Not knowing what to say or how to respond to her question, he stuttered

“Nor…no.oo mal?”

The luna not wanting this to get any more complicated than it already is quickly cuts in.

“Of course my angel you are very normal. You are not only normal, but beyond normal. You are special to your dad and I, you are special to everyone, to the entire Great Crest Pack”.

“Really mummy” Andrea asked excited with the response she got from her mother.

“Yes Andrea, you are normal because all you are experiencing are all that happens to every werewolves at a point in our lives. And you are special because yours is coming earlier than others and it is even better and stronger than that of others.” The luna happily explained.

Now I was glad that I had called on the luna at a time like this one. What exactly was the Alpha and I going to do if the luna was not here, how were we supposed to handle this? The luna words were filled with wisdom and so much love for Andrea.

Now the little girl would never consider herself as being odd from her mates, she would only feel special.

The Alpha and I would not have been able to handle this situation as perfectly as the luna had handled it, we won’t have been able to have this impact on this lovely angel. The Alpha for sure would have blew out the entire thing with his raging emotions.

Looking at the happy Andrea made me forget all of my sorrows. It’s no secret that the girl brings calmness with her. I for one moment forgot about all the pains and traumas that awaits her, I can only help but live in the present. I don’t know why, but I strongly feel that that’s how Andrea wanted the moment to be, and I love her even more for that.

Andrew’s POV

Hearing Tricia say these words to Andrea brought a great relief to me. At least it would afford our daughter the opportunity to live a normal life or something close to that.

Now I wish it was all as simple as this. Poor Tricia, she doesn’t know what her daughter is up against. She knows nothing of the evil that is to come. I looked at both mother and daughter and I jealous their innocence. They live life as it comes, oblivious of the terror that lingers around.

I feel so guilty towards Tricia, she deserves to know what her daughter is up against. But on a second thought, she mustn’t know, she should never know. She deserves a live devoid of worries, yes she should be protected from this terror, and that is exactly what I must do, what I will do.

Andrea chuckles drew me back to reality.

“Thank you so much mummy, I love you and daddy so so much. You guys are the best” Andrea said excitedly and rushed over to embrace me.

I was completely lost in her world, forgotten in her embrace. With her arms wrapped around me, I forgot all of my worries. My fears were gone, and I experienced absolute peace devoid of sorrows.

How was she able to do that? I knew it wasn’t just the embrace, it was Andrea, my angel. I have no doubt that she intentionally brought this sorting to my soul, it was as though she knew exactly what I needed at the moment.

I can only bless the day that I had her, the night she was conceived. I thank the moon goddess for bringing her to me. I would choose her over and over again if asked to.

With so much going on within me right now, I wouldn’t question this moment, I was going to cherish it for as long as it was going to lasts.
