TEN *EXTRA MOUTHS*

Constantine’s POV

I walked round my room trying to make sure that everything was in place before I leave for the get together that would be taking place on our family gardens.

I had instructed the helps on what to do at the garden.

I was already a little nervous. I hope it all goes as planned. Knowing just how much this means to my friends, I can't afford to mess it up.

I stood in front of the mirror, to take a final glance at myself. I hope I look good for today. Just then, I heard a small knock at the door. I ignored it the first time until the knock came again and this time it was louder.

Who is knocking at my door I thought to myself. “You can come inside” I said to the person.

I was only expecting my friends at this time. My instincts tells me that it must be Andrea knocking. I looked at the time and it’s a few minutes to 11 am. I must confess she is quite early. This little get together seems to mean so much to her. The fact that she truly care about us and values our friendship makes me happy.

“Hey Andrea, you are quite on time. I am glad that I am through already”. I said as she entered glowing in her beauty. Has she always been like this or am I just beginning to notice it? I thought to myself.

“You look astonishing Andrea” I said gazing at her.

“Thanks Consty, thanks for the compliment” she said staring at me confused.

“Come on Andrea don’t look at me that way. You are really beautiful, and I got to tell you just as it is”. I said.

She smiled “Consty, you look amazing yourself. And I really loved that you appreciated my look. I put in a lot of effort on this and I sure deserve some accolades”.

“Don’t try to be polite Andrea, we both know you need no extra effort to look this way, even better than this”. I replied with my eyes fixed on her curvy body. I can’t help but admire the how perfectly the bumshort looked on her together with her green spaghetti top.

“Okay, I give up already”. She said

“Let’s head to Okay the garden for our small party, Lilium and Brenda are there already” she added

“You knew?” I asked astonished. Of course what was I expecting, with Andrea, somethings that should scare the hell out of a normal person should be but a normalcy. This is just the least of the things that surprises me about her. “yeah let’s start going, they should not be kept waiting.”

Just as we entered the garden from the door connecting to the main house, Lilium and Brenda entered through the main entrance. I must give this to Andrea, only her can make such perfect timing. I swear if I was to name her, I would call her perfection.

Andrea rushed to embrace them “you guys look breath taking” she said to them.

And of course they are really beautiful. Am I just noticing this for the first time or what, I see them almost like always, so why do they appear all grown up and unique all of a sudden?

“Okay, okay” I said raising up my hands in a surrender. “I give up. So please you guys should tell me the secret of the sudden transformation, what did I miss?” I asked looking at each of their faces.

“Really Consty? we did put in a lot of efforts to look this amazing today” Brenda said.

“No, no, no I aren’t going to fall for that my darling Brenda, Andrea here can testify to that. So when I say you girls are breathe taking I expect you throw in the towel and start talking already”. I said looking at each of them.

“Alright Consty, we give up. We are looking more beautiful because we are growing more beautiful by the day” Brenda said.

“And please don’t ask us how that happen, because that is your assignment.” Lilium added.

“Yes Consty, google is your close companion at the moment” Andrea puts in.

Seriously they have all come for me, when just a second ago, I was thinking I was the hero here. I better give up, because I know exactly how dangerous the venom of these three could be.

“I surrender” I said raising my hands in defeat “you guys won”.

Just then my younger brother Eddy entered through the main house. He looked all dressed, obviously he was about going out.

“where are you off to Eddy?” I asked staring at his unique appearance. He is in the same age bracket with the girls, but he has his own clique and hardly hangs out with us. But he’s always taking a special liking to Andrea.

“You guys are having some get together, and since poor you happen to be the only dude around here, I am here to offer my support to you dude”. He said in obvious confidence.

That was quite like Eddy, always feels indispensable. Anyways, he has every reason to feel that way. He always stands out in the crowd.

“Can I join you?” he quickly added smiling at the girls.

“Of course Eddy, you are always welcome” Brenda added before I got the time to think about the proposal.

“Yea Eddy, I do need all the support I could get right now” I said.

“okay, let’s get this party started”. Eddy screamed. That’s more like Eddy, the live wire of every occasion. He has already taken charge of the whole thing.

Just then, his phone rang, he looked at the caller and then turned to stare at me with guilt. He said “brother I hope you wouldn’t mind an extra mouth here and there?”

“An extra mouth?” I asked with my mouth agape.

“I have actually invited four or five extra persons to join us. They shouldn’t be more than eight, the party needs more lives added to it” he added this time looking at Andrea to get her support.

“Of course that would be great Eddy, so thoughtful of you to invite more of our friends. Don’t you agree Lilium?” Andrea puts in before I could have the time to formally digest the new development.

“You are a darling Eddy, you know just the right thing for every occasions”. Lilium added while Brenda nods in support. The girls smiling at Eddy.

“Come on in guys, I am just about to get the party started” Eddy yelled into his phone.
