The noise these people managed to make while arguing about if cereals should be put first in the bowl or milk, was crazy. So crazy loud that I didn't hear my phone ring or check Daisy's missed call until minutes later, when I was going outside to check why Sia was taking so much time to come back.
Calling her back, I pressed the phone to my ears. At first, it came busy, and she still picked up. Disconnecting another call to pick up mine? Wow. I felt important.
"Can one of you not pick up the phone?!" She shouted.
"Sorry." I chuckle, not meaning it. "There was too much noise here and I didn't hear your phone, and I assume no one else did either-"
She cut me off. "Where's Sia?"
"I'm walking out to get her. Why?" I asked.
