Trust issues

Trust issues.....*sighs*

I woke feeling a little groggy,so I slept back in for twenty minutes... I finally stood up and had my bath , put on a spaghetti top ,blue trousers and picked one of my flats .

I ordered breakfast and was watching coming to america before they had delivered my food.

Ding dong...

Yay ....my food is here. My food did come but I also saw cal. Great.

"Cal what are you doing here"

"I came here to tell you that the painting had arrived yesterday night"

"Painting"

"Yes ma, so I kept in one of the rooms"

But its raphael's painting...how...

"Okay, let me get my coat"

I picked my brown coat because it was cold and it was raining.

We entered the car and rode in silence

" They are done with the crack tiles , its just the appliances and others they are doing"

"That's good"

They are surprisingly faster than I expected.

"We are here"

Before I got out I said

"Cal, let's cut the formality"

"Sure".

He showed me where it was , I am happy but why did raphael send this to me , I will probably stop by and thank him later.

"So what you will do is to keep it by the right that's after the paint has dried "

"Ok"

"Cal do you know where raphael works"

"Yeah, I have his business card here"

"Thank you"

I called a cab , told the man the address and hoped he may be inside.

As I walked inside you could tell it was purely business here , the was made out of glass people were either on the phone or discussing with another person.

It was a law firm.

"Hello, please I am looking for Mr raphael "

"Is he expecting you"

" No, but we are partners"

I lied knowing she wouldn't have let me up.

"He said you can come up, he's on the fifth floor last room".

"Ok, thank you"

I stepped into the elevator and went up. Their place was pretty big and it was long it think I got confused , I finally reached the last room.

I knocked softly

"Come in" he said with his voice sounding annoyed.

"Get out Katrina, Now and don't come back"

"Fine but is she who u left me for she's pretty but not as good looking, talented and wonderful as I am"

Katrina the girl who I think he was talking to.

" I will just go if this is a bad time"

"And by the way you little vindictive b***h , I don't know what's going on but count me out of it and I can never be you because you are way out of my league"

"Ughhh, rude. Bye raphy"

With that I left feeling insulted coming to

say thank you but instead some random i***t assumes s**t and....

Raphael walks up to me

"Cora wait, sorry about that she can be...."

I cut him off saying

"Annoying,rude,mean,judgy"

"Yes, just come back in let's talk"

"Fine "

I say trying not to stare at him for long , I won't lie he does look hot with he sleeves rolled up, I Just like it.

"Come on before you get lost again"

"How did you know"

"Well I was talking to someone on the phone before you came and all this happened, they told me a lady was wondering around and that same lady lied to my secretary that she was my partner care to explain"

"Well I came over here to thank you, but I knew she wouldn't allow me and They where many doors, I got tired"

I said and he chuckled

"Yeah, so may doors"

"They were, I actually came here to tell you thank you for the painting "

"Oh , that it was nothing and I saw the way

you looked ..like you were a time bomb ticking"

"Yeah, I was just a bit shocked to everything"

"You seemed pretty shocked"

I laugh in embarrassment.

"I have to go now"

"Let me see you out"

I walked to the door I felt his eyes on my back, not saying anything but I just left. Besides my trip is almost over.

I sighed and decided to call Alex to come over let's talk about the kiss.

I opened the door to see Alex .

"Hi"

"Hey, come in"

"So about last night"

"Yeah am sorry I did that"

"You don't have to be I'm cool with it"

"Really "

"Yeah"

"Let's watch the breakfast club "

"OK , I will get the pop corn"

He left to go and get it.

"Wait"

I sat back smiling to myself, just thinking about my life , I normally wouldn't go for it but here I am.

"Hey, do you want butter or sugar"

"How about you"

I put my hand behind his head about kissing but he puts popcorn in my mouth. I laugh.

"Isn't that supposed to be me saying that"

"the movie is starting, shush"

I rest my head on his chest and watch the movie.

I walked him to the door he gave me a peck on my cheek before leaving. I took a hot shower before climbing my bed and dozing off .

One more day

Ugggghhhhh today is my last day here before I go back to the those idiots I said to my self .

I had a quick shower and slipped into something comfy, I sat down got my laptop and booked my flight ,walked about then decided to go to the beach and relax. I did miss my friends no doubt though , there was those one guy that was trying to impress one of the girls and then as he was coming out of he fell on the floor .

so I spent my afternoon laughing at guys trying so hard to impress the girls and then one girl came up and sat beside me and was ranting to me on how they all used the same pick up lines, I literally laughed so hard I couldn't speak again .

It was evening time so I decided to leave and start arranging my stuff and I got a text from Alex asking "what I was doing".

And then I realise I didn't tell him, ken and logan that I was leaving today.

So because I can't leave the hotel , I have to call and tell him over the phone because I can't miss this flight and I'm already late because I'm just a girl.

Alex's phone rings

"Hey, what's up". I say

"I'm okay, what are you doing at this moment". he says

I'm packing my stuff, because I have a flight today, I know I should have mentioned it earlier I forgot and everything was happening so quickly I didn't know how to add that in and I know I will have to explain better but I can't right now.

"Wow". He says

"What is your flight, do you need to arrange a cab to the airport?." He continues

"No, I'm good the hotel is helping with that. Hence, why I'm rushing before the guy gets here". I say

"So, I don't keep him waiting. But when I land I will definitely text you guys to apologise and call. But I'm sorry for not mentioning this earlier ". I say

"It's alright " He says

"Thank you, good bye" I say

"Good bye" Alex's says

The call ends and i feel so bad that I didn't say anything earlier.

But I would not love it to pay extra money if I miss the flight. So i quickly pack my things and later remember I haven't picked out my fit for the airport.

This are the struggles as a girl, because it's airport doesn't mean we wouldn't look amazing.

So, at this stage I've picked my grey joggers and a brown top with a face cap. I finish it up with my white airforce one's and my coach bag.

The hotel staff comes upstairs and knocks to tell me the driver is waiting, I check the time and damn, time is really not friendly so they offer to take my bags downstairs to the cab.

I put on my box's tags and padlock them before allowing them to leave, whilst I double check to see if I forgot anything.

I'm leaving and doing a mirror selfie because I mean memories, right.

I hope into the car and apologies for my delay and we are off.

I look out as we are leaving and see how truly the country is so beautiful and I will probably come back when everything is more settled.
