CHAPTER TWO, THE UNVEILING

Halima! Halima!! Halima!!!....Gogo called but no response, she knock at the door of Halima still no response then she opened the door of Halima's room and saw the bed was clean,tied and looks like no one have spelt on it ,gogo seem anxious and angry but later told herself to cam down and think back on the day she also found out about her family secrets court and she sit back no Halima's bed ,and give her face a smile. then she fold her arms and make an incantation to command Halima back home.

meanwhile, Halima was found lying down unconsciously in the park Close to her community, luckily for her one of the people found her was her teacher in school and she was taken by him to the hospital, on their way Halima had the command of grandmother telling her to come back home, she weak up like nothing happened to her and tell the driver to stop the car but the driver asked why that she need a doctor to check on her. Unknownly to her,she command the man to take her home and he took her home without any questions or argument when they got to her house, Halima realized that she has been out of the house since yesterday night and she recalled the event that happened to her last night and broke into tears.

Although she stood out side thinking about her life changing and everything she believed in.

Suddenly, she had her grandmother calling her name Halima my dear princess, the joy of my life, the heir to my dynasty .....gogo calling Halima with sweet name and praises. Halima want in and demand for her grandmother to answer all the questions she have for her. Before Halima could say a word her grandmother ask her to sit down and listen to her, that she will tell her everything about her life and how she became a witch.

Unvailing the truth, grandmother start ,in our family from generation to generation we are the leader of the "Red chamber " red chamber is the name of the family secrets court, and it is the obligation for our family to carry out all the necessary duties and responsibilities of the red chamber and it is passed on to the first female child of nest generations , in my case ,my first generation was Male your father and his brother, your Uncle bala which I could not pass it no to them so I rule longer than all my family in the record .

therefore, I waited until u are born, on the day I saw ur mother pregnant of you I immediately checked what s*x of the child is , that was the most important and happy day of my life, because if you were a boy then the elders of the court would have taken the family right away from my family and I would have to give your father as a sacrifice to pay for not be able to provide a heir to the family secrets sit.

so,on the day you where born I secretively mark you as the new heir to the family secrets court sit ,when you where 2 years I have to introduce you to the red chamber elders and every member of the court, it was the first time you where taken to the red chamber by myself and you were aware of it but could not understand what is happening. We always have the red chamber meetings twice in a month, due to that I have to come up with a plan to make you stay with me for easy access to the meetings, I think and think of the way out then you father surprise me with a good new of your young sister coming soon which I used as an excuse for you to move to my house and to my surprise your mother didn't object because she needed the help as a carer women .

In my house,it was easy for me to take you along all the time but you are in conscious state and see things as it was a dream. I always carry you on my back to the red chamber, even as In my old age. some time It is difficult to carry u on my back but I have to because you are half asleep that is why some time you do see me crawling out of your room and you do think it is in your dreams.so you have to take your position at the red chamber for me to also become an elder.
