  ALDRIC’S POV   After a few minutes' drive, the police vehicles surrounded the small apartment building, and I was right behind them.   It was an old, poorly maintained building, in a quiet part of the city. The car was parked outside the building with a matching plate number.   I followed the officers as they moved discreetly to the entrance.   They knocked on his door.   A man in his forties who matched the exact frame of the driver opened the door.
