I knew the second Eve entered the room, and instead of looking for the source of the power they can feel, I looked down. Even through I could feel her power, something felt different about her, like something was missing. It might just be the fact that I am now mated instead of back then, when I was still struggling with the incomplete mate bond. So much has changed in the past twenty four hours since we completed the mate bond, so it wouldn't be a surprise if her power felt different for me.
