Never in my life have I flown so hard and so fast. I didn't care that anyone could see me, didn't care that humans would learn about us. All I cared about was getting to Fraya. I felt the pain of claws digging into me and knew it was Fraya's pain that I was feeling. I kept pushing myself to fly faster, needing to get there in time.
The sight of a tornado greeted me the closer I got, I could feel the pull of it and I just knew that it was Fraya causing it, but the powers felt different. I knew that if I were to be pulled into that tornado, it wouldn't just let my through like her powers did before. This time it was like the powers didn't recognize me at all. It didn't care that I was her mate, all it cared about was killing anything within its reach.
