It was almost lunch time and here I was still stuck in the board meeting. Not long after, the meeting finished as I rushed to my office where Drew was waiting for me. Once I entered the office as I expected as Drew was already there, sitting on my couch.
“Hey man! Sorry, the meeting took a little bit longer than I expected,” I said while entering the office.
“Don’t worry man,” he replied.
“So, will Nick meet us there?” I asked.
“Yeah, it’s at his own hotel restaurant after all,” he said while chuckling. Yeah, we were planning to have lunch together.
“Ok, let’s go. Are you driving today?” I asked him.
“Yeah, let’s go with my car. I’ll send you back after lunch,” he added as we both headed to the restaurant.
