I work up to the start of a sound of heavy rain with shattering thunder. I turned up to the side table to check the time and to my surprise it was already 11 am. Then I noticed that Eric was not in the bed. I was shocked and quickly jumped out of the bed then walked toward the bathroom. I took a shower in a rush and then I changed into a blue floral pattern dress and came out of the bedroom. Then I saw Eric busy with his laptop in the living room.
“Sorry! Eric, I overslept,” I apologized to him. Today we planned to go and visit the vineyard. Actually we were supposed to depart from the hotel early in the morning because it’s gonna be a long drive and I convince Eric to go with a car. But now I overslept and the weather was not on our side too.
