After my afternoon meeting, I dialed Lily’s phone to check on her. The phone was connected but there was no answer from the other line. I kept calling her cell but still no answer. I started worrying about her so I called her assistant office phone. After the third ringing, her assistant Anna picked up the phone.
“Hello! Collin foundation,” Anna answered the phone.
“Hi, this is Eric. Eric Miller,” I said.
“Hello! Mr. Miller, how may I help you?” Anna asked.
“Can you pass the call to my wife, I couldn’t reach her phone,” I said while waiting Anna replied.
“Mr. Miller, Lily is not at the office currently. She said she needed to go somewhere and left the office around two hours ago,” she said. After hearing her, I started worrying more.
