Why are we running anyway?

It was dark already and we’ve been running through the woods for hours,it’s been really scary,especially the part when we had to run through the borders and risked getting caught.

I was already worn out from all the running plus I couldn’t help but notice how tired Sofia was, man!! I stressed her out. We where just about to take another turn when she yelled.

Stop!!!, she yelled.

What’s wrong,I asked in concern

Wh..why.are we running anyway?she said gasping for breath

Don’t worry, I’ll explain later

When!!!She asked annoyed.

Probably when we’ve passed out from lack of air or when we get attacked by “who knows what”.

C’mon Drey, I deserve to know.

Seeing how worried she was I began to feel more

and worried and confused

But tried to mask it when I noticed her staring me in the eyes.

We had to leave,I said calmly.

I mean I just feel there’s trouble ahead.

Trouble? She ask confused .

Oh c’mon I don’t want her to think I’m crazy or something, I said to myself.

Uhh...If I told you, you wouldn’t believe me.

What’s going on, she asked insistently

Well I think she needs to know, Ares pointed out. Plus you’ll keep her anxious if you don’t tell her so.......

Oh..I hate it when you’re right. Anyway.

I keep having the dreams,..or visions about this place hidden in the forest.And the next thing there’s an exact replica of me telling me to run,as far as I can.

Ok......, she drew out.

I can tell she’s confused already,I said to myself.

See, now you think I’m crazy.

Noo!! I mean it’s confusing but some how,I believe you, she said reassuringly

You do??, I asked

Yeah,kinda,..I mean you wouldn’t have dragged me out of the pack house for nothing so..

Yeah..that works,I said in relief.oh.. that’s better.

So what do we do now? She asked.

We’ll just have to wait I guess.....

Sofia

We lit a fire and sat beside it huddled up for warmth,I just can’t help but feel sorry for Drey, he seems to be going through a lot lately,plus he’s a great guy.

While staring into the flames there was an awkward silence between us,no one said a word, he must be deep in thought,gosh!!.

We went silent for a couple of minutes before.....

“Twig snaps”

What’s that?

I don’t know but stay close, something’s in the bushes,he said

Don’t worry ,I got you,He assures me with a slight tone aid bravery.

As the sound gets closer and closer we were already in a fighting stance,prepared for whatever would charge at us.But to our uttermost surprise,it was a squirrel.

I was about to laugh at the look on Drey’s face when we were hit with a blast of smoke,and it burns.

I looked around for Drey and spotted him lying on the ground,I run over to him and hold him shortly before I pass out....

I woke up in a well furnished room, warm sun rays through the windows and on a soft bed with a boy sitting on a the couch in the opposite side of the room.

I snap up to view the room.

Finally you woke up,He speaks up.

How long have you been sitting there?

Well let’s say,since mid night!!

What!!! A..Anyway, where’s this place? and who are you.

Why am I here?

Calm down, okay, just get ready and come downstairs breakfast is ready. He said heading towards the door.

Breakfast?, I asked confused .

Hey, where’s Sofia?,wait up.

When I finally got downstairs I was shocked, the table was all set with everyone sitted including Sofia.

What’s all this? I said to myself.

Oh finally,he’s here, a man said sitting at the head of the table.

He was bald and,well built if I do say so myself, and there were two other boys at the table.

So....what are we doing here?

Well that’s a way to start the morning,one of them said.

Well to get answers you’ll have to sit first,the man said with a smirk.

I sat,a little bit skeptical but I saw how calm Sofia was so I decided to loosen up.

So what are we doing here.

Well firstly I’m Homer and these are my sons Apollo and Adonis,and let’s just say we have a great journey ahead.........

“A cool afternoon ”

Sitting in the garden pondering on how to stop the collaboration between the werewolf and vampire clans,i mean they can keep the peace treaty on but they should stay on their turf for goodness sake...

“Doors open”and George the head guard walks up to me.

What is it this time? I ask nonchalantly.

The boy we caught spying has escaped.

What!!!!!! How the heck did that happen?

We’re really not sure,he never even left any trace.

What do you mean?

It’s like he just disappeared.

Oh please,boys don’t just disappear in to thin air.

But I’m guessing he did Alpha.

You sound so sure,take me there.

“Moments later”

Well..seems you’re right

But don’t just stand there I want as many guards as you can get on a search patrol,find him and bring him to me..........

“Flashes of light” “Screams”

Wh..what is this? Where am I?

I look up in blurry vision and notice a sword in the air flung towards me, whoa.

I move away and it pierced into the ground with so much speed.

I then realize I’m in a war front again.

I see a lady in the arms of a giant..no..monster or whatever but seems to be made out of dark smoke with bits of purple flames and pitch black eyes.

Warriors charging, swords clashing, blood splatter and fire spreads.

Man what a war. He seems to hold the lady tightly, she has pure white hair and is very beautiful.

I stil don’t understand,what is all this?

Al of a sudden the beast noticed me and charges at me...............

Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

“What happened?” Homer asks.

“I couldn’t breathe and had blurry vision, then I see Sofia holding me and the boys pumping my chest for revival and then I let out a gasp.”

Air passes through my lungs,I can finally breath and see properly and notice all of them staring at me like they’d seen a ghost.

Oh crap I’m covered I’m sweat.

“What happed?” Sofia asks with worry in her tone.

“I..I don’t know, I was just in the middle of a war, h.h..he attacked me.”

“Who?” the boys ask.

“The beast h..he was holding this girl.”

“Wait did you just say he was holding a girl?”Homer asked with realization in his eyes.

“And he attacked you?”

“Yes he was made of dark smoke and purple flame.” I explained.

He gasps..Oh no........
