I hadn’t slept at all last night; my mind was racing a mile a minute.
I got up straight away to take a bath and do my skincare routine since I hadn’t slept much. I had tossed and turned in bed, thinking about the conversation we had.
I went downstairs hoping to find Ulises and ask him more questions. There were still so many things to know, and I needed answers. Although, maybe I should also do some investigating on my own. For now, I needed to know his side of things and do my own research—that’s why I accepted the damn deal.
When I went down for breakfast, I found Ulises in the garden, about to leave. He hadn’t waited for me to eat with him like he usually did since I arrived at this house. As I approached the table, he immediately got up without even looking at me.
