BASTIAN (THREE YEARS AGO) We were speeding down the highway in his black Cheyenne. The wounds on my face still hurt, but I could handle it as long as I didn’t do anything too strenuous or expose myself too much to the sun. Three more cars were escorting us, two ahead and one behind. “Drive faster, you grandma!” Apolo ordered the man in black who was driving. The speed increased. I never thought a car could go this fast. If you asked me how I drive, I’d say I’m on the Team “Elderly Drivers.” Watching Apolo in action and his daily activities gave me an advantage to document and gather evidence of his crimes if I stayed close to him.
