Seeing Rodrigo so taken aback by my new appearance wasn't what he expected.
He hadn't seen me at my most deplorable, but definitely during the time I was with him, I was nothing compared to what I am now. There had been a radical change because I had managed to bring out the best version of myself in every aspect, and I must say I loved this new Penny who I am today.
I turned around to leave. I'd be close by for when Ofelia approached with news about Mr. Park. I didn't intend to spend another moment locked up with the individual. I'd had enough of him three years ago.
"Penelope, wait," Rodrigo spoke, "you can't just leave like that after disappearing for over three years." He managed to get up to come towards me.
