CHAPTER 2

“Once they landed in Italy Pooja father picked them up personal and took Meenal with him and since then everything have been good for her but she really missed Hercules every day, Meenal would cry in her sleep and Pooja, Geet would be with her and support her with everything. Pooja’s mother was like a mother to her when Meenal gets up she will come to her room every morning and hug her to make her feel like she’s home. When Meenal started studying again Pooja’s father and mother supported her in every way and since then Meenal started calling them dad and mom. When Meenal started her study’s she meet few more people and one of them was Ryan. He was a sweetheart for Meenal, he always makes her laugh and when Meenal’s with Pooja, Geet, Neil, and Ryan she forgets everything and lives her life with fullest but after 5 years later Pooja started dating and met Rahul and he started hanging out with them but it took few months for everyone in the group to accept Rahul. But everyone was happy for Pooja. Meenal loves her life she is now what she wanted to be, she sings with Neil in her free time they both go to orphanage and sing and dance with the kids over there and she’s even doing what her dad wants her to do. Plus when she wants she can do her surgery and take care of her patients as well.

“Pooja I will kill you “yelled Geet from outside. Pooja walked inside the room an sat on the sofa next to the office desk that I was sitting at and even I don’t know when I got to the desk I was so lost in my past I even didn’t hear Geet and Pooja coming.

“What the hell is going on with you guys now “I said to both of them, Pooja and Geet looked at me and started yelling at each other together. I was so mad at them so I slammed my hand on the desk.

“What the hell “I said to them.

“She again went in my room without me knowing and took my cloths again “said Geet in loud tone. I looked at Pooja and she just smiled at me.

“I was going on a date with Rahul and I wanted to look good “said Pooja in normal tone and looked at Geet.

“You took my things and I’m not fighting with you “Said Pooja and Geet looked at me with a shy face.

“Ok enough I have work to do please guys dad (Pooja’s father) needs this report by end of the day “I said to them.

“Please Meenal father loves you so much, he will not say anything to you if you don’t finish the report on time “said Pooja and came around the desk and hugged me. I looked at Geet who was busy texting someone. I hugged Pooja back and asked where everyone is.

“Neil is coming here and I’m texting Ryan so he said his coming as well “said Geet without looking up.

“Rahul is busy so his not coming “said Pooja sitting on my chair’s arm. I didn’t say anything and just nodded my head. After few mins later Neil came in without knocking.

“Hello ladies “said Neil and walked around the desk and kissed Meenal’s forehead like always. After kissing Meenal’s head Neil sat on the sofa and looked at Pooja and Geet who were looking at him with a smile, Neil knew why they’re smile but he ignored them and looked at Meenal who was busy typing.

“What are you doing babe “said Neil who started calling Meenal babe 5years ago after getting drunk and since then he continue calling her babe. Meenal looked up at him and smiled.

“Weekly report “said Meenal in bored tone. Neil got up from his seat and walked towards Meenal, He pulled Pooja up from arm rest and push her towards the sofa and then he pulled Meenal up and sat on her chair and pulled Meenal on the chair arm wrapping his left arm around her.

“What you doing Neil “said Meenal grabbing his hand to hold her place and not to fall into his lap.

“I’m doing your report for you so you don’t have to get bored and for you to give you time to talk to your sister’s “said Neil smiling at Meenal, Meenal shook her head and looked at Pooja and Geet who were already looking at her. Meenal made a confused face and looked at them making faces.

“What’s wrong why you guys looking at me like that “said Meenal looking at them.

“Nothing “said Pooja smiling.

“You guys look cute together “said Geet smiling and looking at Meenal then Neil but Neil just winked at Geet. And Geet and Pooja just laughed looking at Neil’s naughty wink.

“What you guy’s laughing about “said Ryan looking at everyone from the doorway. Everyone looked at Ryan and smiled at him.

“How are you Ryan “said Meenal trying to get up but Neil just pulled her down to the place again.

“Where are you going “said Neil and Meenal just looked at him in confused way. “I’m going to sit next to Pooja “said Meenal and again tried to get up.

“But I need energy to finish this report for you “said Neil and gave Meenal a puppy dog eye. Meenal just rolled her eyes and sat there. Everyone looked at them and started laughing.

“Meenal you know he loves you so why don’t you say yes to him “said Ryan laughing but Pooja saw Meenal got still and Neil felt Meenal get still in his arm. But before Meenal could say anything Neil said it before.

“Because I asked her to take as much as time she can and I’m not in hurry and I want her to live her life and put herself first then anyone else “said Neil looking at Ryan but Meenal just squeezed his arm to say thank you without saying it.

“Anyways are we all ready for the surgical trip it important and it’s in less than 24 hours so we have to leave here tonight “said Pooja cutting the topic.

“I guess “said Ryan smiling.

“I’m ready “said Geet looking at everyone.

“What we need did anyone ask the board “said Neil to everyone.

“I got the call in the morning but father said he will email every one of us about the detail “said Pooja and looked at everyone.

“I don’t know if I can go “said Meenal.

“Why not you have to come with us “said Ryan and walked to the desk from the sofa.

“I have to ask dad if he can handle the project he gave me while I’m away “said Meenal in low tone.

“But suddenly someone walked in the door huffing and everyone started looking at him.

“Damien what’s wrong why you are huffing like this “said Meenal looking at him. Damien is Meenal assistant for the last 5 and half years and Meenal loves him like a family because when Meenal find out his is orphan she couldn’t let him be alone so she started take care of him. Damien looked at everyone and then at Meenal.

“Your father is on line 2 he wants to talk about Australia’s surgical trip Ma’am “said Damien and Meenal got up from where she was siting and walked to Damien and put her hand on his shoulder.

“Damien how many times do I have to tell you to call me Meenal or Varsha when everyone around huh “said Meenal to Damien. Damien looked at Meenal and smiled but everyone started laughing behind Meenal.

“Ok I have to go to hospital I have a case tonight and on the way I’ll talk to dad “said Meenal to everyone.

“But no one knows that everything will change when they go to Australia because the DEVIL will find her and everything will go his way.

“Meenal came back after talking to her dad and she was looking happy but her heart was beat faster than normal.

“Meenal was so happy to have them all but she still felt something is about to happened because she was not feeling good about Australia trip but because of work she has to go with them.

“Damien could you please check my calendar and update it with me and also change your calendar as well because you coming with us to Australia “said Meenal smiling at Damien.

“But what about you meetings over here you don’t want me to attend them for you “said Damien but Meenal just rolled her eyes.

“Damien Dad will handle that “said Meenal.

“Meenal looked at everyone like she was looking at them for the last time.
