Tara could almost swear she felt Antonio slipping away from her, during dinner, and then in the plane where he decided to sleep. And their exchange in the car as it led them to her building wasn’t the most pleasing either. She had, for all intents and purposes, told him she didn’t wish to be a burden to him - by being a clingy and need girlfriend - and he hadn’t uttered a word in response. Almost as if he agreed with her reasoning. That stung. Nah, the verb sting wasn’t all that. It hurt. It f*****g hurt like a b***h.
