The reconciliation with Jennifer went rather smoothly… so smoothly Tara had trouble believing it. Within a few hours, she cleared up the misunderstanding that Chloe had created, and even managed to ease off the rift that had been caused by said misunderstanding.
“How about we hang out together?” Jennifer suggested once they were done with their lectures for the day.
“Sure, if that’s okay with you,” Tara agreed readily with a smile.
“My shift at the café doesn’t start until 6 pm and it is barely 3 now,” Jennifer winked.
Then, Tara remembered that Carmen was probably bored out of her mind in her flat, waiting for everything that wasn’t so juicy for her to tell her about, and a conflicted face replaced her smile.
