“Like I said, everything has been taken care of. Now, if you would excuse me.” Brandon's face had turned slightly more stoic than usual. His blue eyes a shade darker like the storms that occur in the middle of the ocean. They bore right into hers, sending shivers as cold as winter currents down her spine. Alarm bells went off inside the woman's head as she stared at Brandon with her smile still plastered on. She tried to be as discrete as possible, trying to discern any emotional fluctuation Brandon might display.
She had a feeling that she was missing something. Her suspicion was getting the best of her. A light tug snapped her out of it with her smile not faltering. Instead, it broadened showing more of her pearly white teeth.
“Okay!” The woman took a step back preparing herself to head back. She wasn't really happy with the alpha's attitude but she couldn't do nor say any more. She might just expose herself.
“Since she's alright then I'll take my leave. Do let me know if anything changes, alpha. I'll be happy to help out.” The woman tilted her head to the side a little revealing a tattoo on her neck. She bid farewell unaware that she had unintentionally exposed herself with her earlier actions. Brandon glanced at the tattoo that had revealed itself for a moment before being covered by hair again. He was surprised to see it after such a long time. It had been close to 10 years since he'd last seen someone wearing a similar tattoo.
The tattoo looked like some kind of ancient symbol with a complicated intricate on it. After his brief glance, Brandon knew he had to get wipe them out. He had a feeling that there were more out there. He hadn't done his job quite well back then. Only this time, he was determined to wipe any traces of their existence off of the face of the earth.
The guard ushered both women out while Brandon's eyes were trained onto their backs before closing the bedroom door.
Upon reaching the front door, the guard slowed down as he stopped at the top of the short stairs. He watched the two women het into the car prepared for them by their alpha and driving off. Turning around, he went back in and closed the door behind himself.

“We'll be heading in at the peak of the crescent moon. Don't forget to cloak both your scent and presence.” The woman held out her hand which had a small sachet. She studied the naïve looking girl who now wore a confused look. The girl had been her disciple fever since her the woman's older sister found her a couple of months back. She vehemently had refused to take her in as her own but her sister insisted. It was quite infuriating seeing her sister adamant about it. She only relented when she conversed with her older sister and found out that the girl needed to undergo practical training during the coming months.
Their kind's training is always during the crescent moon which was perfect for her assignment. She had thought that the girl would need some hard-core training but who would've thought she was a quick learner. It was also advantageous to her since she was to take her with on her assignment.
The woman lightly threw the sachet towards the girl and she caught it. The girl without a word, evaluated the pack before opening it. A pungent and acidic like smell hit her nasal causing her nose to wrinkle up in dissatisfaction. She raised her eyes to look at her mentor with a questioning gaze.
“It's for scent control.” She didn't even blink when she responded to her curious gaze. Dissatisfaction evident in her eyes. The girl didn't say anything and stuffed it inside one of her hand-made pouches.
“Remember to use it before we head in.” The woman was tying a few pouches across her torso while reminding the girl what to do. The girl without knowing, was her mentor's plan B if their 1st plan ever failed. The girl listened to her mentor trying to remember most of what she was saying if not all of it. She gave her mentor a nod of understanding and cooperation. While stuffing the nurse uniform she had worn earlier as a disguise, into one of the disposables. Picking up the stuffed pack after closing it, the girl watched her mentor walk off.
“What about him?” The girl voiced her thoughts for the first time since they got here as she looked at the body that was lying close to the dumpster. When taking a closer look in the dark ally you could see dark veins protruding from underneath his collar. They ran right up his once tanned cheeks stopping beneath his eyes that were now wide open. Like an innocent who had witnessed something sinister before their death. The man's pale complexion and chirped yet parted pale lips added and eerie feeling to the man's horrifying death experience.
The girl's eyes moved to the man's hand that had semi-transformed into a large werewolf clawed paw. The large paw had abnormally long, thick claws protruding from it. The sight was fascinating to the girl as she remembered how the man effortlessly transformed it into one of this magnificent size.
Too bad he didn't get to use it.
“Burn the body…” snapping the girl out of her own thoughts the woman looked at her for any resistance towards the task. She was impressed when she saw the girl looking at her unbothered with it.
“…make sure to erase every trace of him too, living or dead.” Sure enough the girl understood what her mentor meant and gave a nod. She watched her mentor walk off, while training her eyes onto her back until it disappeared right around a far corner. Glancing back at the unmoving body, the girl took a few strides towards it and started dragging it deeper into the ally. Sparks flew as a bright blue light lit the inner part of the ally. A few moment later, the girl walked out of the now lit ally.
After the girl walked off, a silhouette appeared not far from the ally. Stepping out of the shadows into the moonlight, a wicked smile appeared onto their face before they disappeared into the darkness. Blending with the night shadows.
