Lindie POV

i woke up early today because i couldn't sleep today its my first day at Angel Diamonds Firm so i don't want to be late i left around 6:00am then got there at 7:30am i felt so out of place especially everyone was wearing suits and i was the only one dressed casually in a white shirt and jean jacket and skinny jeans okay here we go i said to myself i went to the front desk hello i said to the lady and she looked up hi she said its my first day at work i don't know where i'm going i said in a nervous voice ohhh yeah she said your office is on the 20th floor opposite to the CEO's ohh yeah i see it you'll find everything you need there she said thank you i said walking away i got to my office and it was huge with a computer with three monitors ohhh nice fancy i said to myself i sat down on my desk and started to unpack my things

i was finally done now i need to check out the companies software out i said

getting comfortable i heard a voice from the door i looked up i saw a women in a suit coming into my office ummm yeah i said i was just getting started i'm Hope she said extending her hand for me to shake hi i'm Lindie i said shaking her hand i'm the architect of this company you must be the new ''IT'' yeah i said nice to meet you i said like wise she said anyway ill let you get to work have a grate first day Lindie she said leaving yeah thanks i said starting to work i was done for the day i don't really do much well not don't completely i just need to update the the companies software and that would start to make every computer in this building to stop working so ill have to do that when everyone is gone for the day

i pretty much did nothing for the whole day i was just on my phone watching videos then my door swung opened are you on your phone while at work i looked up and saw Hope ohh hey sorry i just have nothing to do so i thought i just do this i said putting my phone away its okay i'm joking wait what do you mean you have nothing to do she said confused well i need to update the companies software well why are you on your phone then she said well in order to do that the system needs to reboot its self but i noticed that every computer in this building is linked to on another ''and'' she said which means all the computers in this building will stop working for minuets or even hours because it looks like it hasen't been updated in a while i mean y'all are still using a software from 2019 like what the hell its 2024 not wow i said i mean my mom is old fashion she said laughing wait your mom works here i said yeah she does ''as'' i said the CEO she said wait Ms Taylor is your mom wow i did not see that one coming i said laughing what she said nothing its just that you seem so nice and your mom is ummm i mean shes shes ummm mean she said finishing my sentence well no not really she then gave me the ''yeah right eyes'' okay okay maybe she is sometimes you only met her yesterday how can you tell if its sometimes how do you know shes not like that everyday she said laughing wait what she is i said nahhhh i'm joking so shes not mean i said ohhh shes mean i'm not denying that she very mean but shes also nice you know she said ummm no i don't think i do i said anyways lets stop talking about my mom wanna go out for lunch its on me she said with a smile yeah i said i'm not doing anything anyway so yeah lets go i said standing up we went to lunch and talked about how we grew up we grew up so different from each other and she grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth while on the the hand i was the opposite we talked wait you've never been to a carnival i said shocked no actually okay what about a water park i said nope she said site seeing i said nahhh i only been to other countries only for work then come back wow i said your life is so boring i said laughing hey she said its not yeah it is you've never been to the Zoo i'm sure i've been to the Zoo she said okay you get a point there but thee others nahhh nope i said drinking my watermelon juice we ate and talked some more and left to go back to work

It was 7pm and I realized that I work better at night because I get all the excess to all the computers and I'm not disturbing anyone what the hell i heard someone said outside my office I was so confused because I thought I was the only one left here I went to look on who's that what the hell i heard it again I went to the CEO's office and i found Ms Taylor furiously tapping on her computer the f**k she said again it won't work I said and she looked up what do you mean it won't work she said and why are you still here she said confused ummm I'm working on a new update on your systems so all the computers in the building are rebooting right now so the system will be off limits for two or three hours I said that's a long time she said crossing her arms I know but your system hasn't been updated since 2019 it will take time sorry okay it's fine I'll go home she said umm Ms Taylor I was wondering if I can work at night only because it's the only time I can excess the system without interruptions it's okay she said and left

I finished the updates and went home

Lindie my grandma said where have you been it's 3am now and you just came home sorry gran I work nights now I said nights she said why well it's better this way I said okay it's fine if you're happy with your job then I guess it's fine but you still haven't told me who you are working for and where she said I'll explain in the morning right now I'm sleepy okay go to sleep she said and I went to my room to sleep

I woke up in the morning it was 10:00am and I woke up and went downstairs morning I said to my grandparents morning my grandma said dishing me food and putting it on table I sat down and started eating so tell us about your work my grandma said well my grandfather said okay are you guys ready for what i'm about to say i said just tell up my grandma said okay i work for the biggest Diamond firm in the country huhhh my grandfather said ohh i heard of those they produce things from the mines right yeah i said in a happy voice and guess which company i work for i said and they just looked at me in the eyes okay okay i work for a company called Angel Diamonds i said raising up my hands WHAT they both said at the same time i know right they hired me i mean i always wanted to work there i always wanted to work for Angel Taylor shes my role model wait what they both said all these years you were talking about Angel you ment Angel Taylor Thee Angel Taylor my grandma said the look on her face i couldn't understand no no no no you have to quite that job i don't want you to work there i don't want you to work for that woman no no no actually why are we still discussing this my grandfather said you are quitting there's no other way WHAT i said in a broken voice
