Rosella's pov
Dark. Cold. Breathless.
For a second I thought I was going to die. I couldn't feel my legs and my breath was becoming shorter and shorter. I couldn't get out no matter how hard I tried to push. I was petrified. I wanted to go back to my Adam. He makes me feel safe and warm. He takes care of me.
Every minute that passed felt like a year and now even my tears had dried up. After, what it felt like a century, I saw a source of light and I called out with all my might.
"ADAM!"
My hopes were shattered when I felt a sting on my face which made me realised I had been slapped. Again. As I adjusted to the light, I saw the face I was dreading to see again.
